Clutter (pg. 3)

QUESTION:
All my things from my restroom- toothbrush, q-tips, deodorant, hair bands, facial masks, ETC- they all are in my drawers that I have in my restroom.
This week I'm moving and my new restroom doesn't have the drawers I do now. Where should I put all my stuff without having to use the typical ugly white bins from walmart? :/ |

behind the mirror in the medicine cabinet? on a shelf? buy a toothbrush holder? |

| Just buy the ugly white bin. I had to do it when I moved into my old apartment. If your new place has a cupboard under your sink, you can get one of the 3 drawer bins and (hopefully) it'll fit under there. We have one under ours, because the drawers aren't enough for all of our . |

| Actually, Home Sense and the like usually sell more stylish looking storage units. I know I've seen really nice wicker shelf + basket units. Or go to Ikea, they defo have some good storage options. |

Gonna keep it mostly the same...just gonna add the ones that are now horizontal to the vertical stacks (horizontal books are ones I used this year). |

| I hate clutter as well. I'm constantly tidying up - if my apartment is a mess, it feels like my life is a mess. I try not to hold on to useless old things, and I'm always selling random stuff I don't need anymore on craigslist |

oh. i suppose that makes sense :P
i'm a dude. in my bathroom i have soap, tooth-brushing utilities, q-tips, razor. lol. i'm all about being ultra mnml in the bathroom :p
and @OP- while i hate clutter and keep my studio pretty well organized (especially when compared to a few of my other friends), i have a bad habit of keeping mail/bills/documents longer than needed and they end up piling up on my kitchen counter.
one thing that DOES drive me absolutely nuts is cluttered cables and electronics. i often wrap similar cables together with tape or twistie-ties (different USB cables for different devices, for example) and i always have my DVDs and audio CDs near-obsessively organized in my CD case. |

| another thing- my gf ALWAYS complains about how dirty my studio is, especially about how i don't do the dishes often enough and don't sweep and mop the floors enough. then when i DO begin to sweep, she says i'm doing it wrong and gets on her hands and knees and wipes up the floor with a rag. also she notoriously leaves all of her spent coffee cups and water bottles strewn throughout the room. YARGH. /end rant |
