How cluttered or crowded with stuff is your living space?
Does clutter irritate you? Please you? |

Clutter irritates the out of me. Every few months I go through my closets/drawers/things to throw away/sell anything I don't use.
When I see someone who does have clutter, I'm grossed out (depending on the gravity of clutter) I become OCD and feel an urge to just clean it myself. |

| I hate clutter. My living space is immaculate...and I don't have "junk drawers". I am very "mis en place". |

| I don't mind. I keep a mental checklist of pretty much everything I need and can remember where it is. It is faster that way then going through the trouble of keeping things totally clean and clutter free. Also I just have too much . |

+1, for the most part. |

I love clutter. Everything I need is always at hand - books, papers, pencils - it's all on my desk. My clothes are not much different: I'm now placing hangers behind all doors so my trousers and flannel shirts are always easily available (and not on the floor :p).
Sure, sometimes there's useless junk among my stuff, so I transfer it to a clutter drawer: I wait a few months before opening it again. Whatever I didn't miss during this time goes to the bin immediately. |

| My threshold for caring about it is fairly high, so it takes a while before enough of it accumulates for me to clean it all up. I am kind of OCD about some other things though. For example, I have random clothes lying around all the time, but I always put away/organize my books. |

| My living/working space isn't at all fraught with clutter, though it occasionally tends to accumulate, in which case I rely upon a bit of 'creative compartmentalizing' to provide it a temporary place before circulating it out to where it belongs (often, in the trash). |

I tend to like girls that are more clean and tidy, but still there has to be some level of "lived in" look to their room or their house/apartment. I think the same goes for guys, but luckily a lot of guys can get away with a lot more when it comes to clutter and messiness. Girls can't.
Social stereotyping ftw. |

Actually, I think you're fooling yourself with the 'ftw' because lots of girls get turned off by men who fall in that category. They're not going to be cleaning up after their AND they don't want the place to look cluttered, so why bother being with the dude? :p |

I disagree. A girl that is messy is more attractive to me than a girl that is too neat. |

I always organize my books, too.
Today I put them in order on the shelf by color. :p |
