| I'm definitely the most obsessive person I know when it comes to decluttering. I like empty minimalist rooms, and what little they contain must be ordered perfectly. This is actually my main reason for moving out of my current place with my roommates. They leave all over the place, don't clean up and don't have any sense of organization. They seem to be fine living in a dump - and good for them, but for me it's a huge source of stress. |

I don't really care. I'm tidier than a lot of people I know, but the flat surfaces in my room tend to accumulate random clutter which I'll only clear up if it become a hindrance. I tend to build piles - piles of books next to my bed, piles of CDs next to my laptop etc.
I don't see why people get stressed over clutter unless it is a genuine practical hindrance. |

Eeeexcellent.
This thread reminds me that I'm always curious to see how other people live. |

| I'm really not super anal (heee) about clutter and keeping tidy - I have a few stacks in my house that I just don't really give a about. What bothers me though is when I can't find something - I have my own way of filing or sorting things depending on what they are, so that I can find them as fast as possible. When this is thrown out of commotion, it is an issue, especially when I'm looking in the entirely wrong place for it. It seems to me a certain brand of... well, not intelligence, but a certain competence at the least; the ability to effectively organize things so that you have the most efficient and expedient access to them as possible- it seems that is how the brain usually files things like memories as well, or at least the two concepts are rather congruent. |

| I've noticed that chicks always seem to have ing pigsties for cars. Or maybe that's just because the chicks I'm thinking of are also complete spazzes, and stoners to boot. I used to end up cleaning my one friend's apartment every time I went over there to study. Can't think surrounded by a mess. |

| I've always told my girlfriends that the condition of both their car and their purse is directly representative of how clean they keep their vagina. Seems to do wonders. |

Lmao. Probably true! Every chick I know that carries a big in purse with a bunch of in it is a total skank.
Me, I don't even carry a purse. Go on, make a joke about it. You could go anywhere with that. :o |

| I know a girl who carries a humongous, bright-red, leather purse with all sorts of flaps and folds and zippers, etc. Makes me lol at her every time I see it. |

I used to date this girl whose car was just. ing. vile. It was a newish Passat or something, too, she just took deplorable care of the interior. ing stickers everywhere, fast food wrappers in back, uncased CDs all over the ing place. God knows what you ing sat in each time you were in the passenger's seat- you'd have to ing stomp your legs into garbage if you wanted to stretch them out in the least. I thought that eyeball thing from the first Star Wars was going to peek it's way out at me at any moment.
Let's just say she tasted like unsweetened chocolate. |

Ugh gross. Sounds exactly like the chicks I know. Clothes all over the place too. That disgusting ring of sticky, old coffee in the cup holders. And the sick sweet/sour smell of milk gone bad...or something. *barrrf*
edit: Oh yeah, getting inside in the summer time after it's been sitting in the sun all day is always a pleasure. *wretches* |
