Yeah.. that was the least accurate astrology write up I have read.
I have a 'Birthday Book' that tells you about yourself based on the actual day you are born - it's pretty interesting as long as you take it with a grain of salt. But most my friends say its one of the most accurate things they've read. |

I agree. I didn't even read any of those, because it's like those cheeseball e-mail forwards about the sex/love demeanor of a certain sign, where they're each point is found in each sign, but with a different adjective to the same degree.
But the zodiac is very powerful, and impressively accurate. |

some things stay true with every type of write up. earth sign, mothering, stubborn, temper.
i never read about the sex stuff and i don't think it applies to me at all. also, it said i should be a girlie girl but i am not really. |

Listen - to those who wanna prove Astrology is a total and absolute crock of - I'm not forcing you to change your mind - and I am not forcing y'a to read the thread.
All I know is I find it accurate and I posted the info for others who share my enjoyment of the subject matter. I'm not the type of person who takes information at face-value without questioning it and forming my own opinions - I'm too snobby about my level of intelligence to either dismiss or accept things until I take the time to form an opinion of my own that I believe in. And trust me... I totally believe in looking at both sides of any debate.
I believe that there are things that just can't be explained nice 'n easy. I believe in other "out there" stuff like the Law of Attraction and I have some interest in the supernatural as well. I like to think - I probably think too much (*cough*Gemini trait*cough*) I like to think outside the nicely-wrapped little box that is supposed to explain everything with logic.
Sure - many individual traits can be very broad-ranging. It's the consistency of the numerous unique traits that comprise the whole which strike me and have made me believe in all this stuff.
Every relationship I've had has been with one of two signs. The fact that every Libra I know takes forever to make up their freak'n mind. Every Gemini I know talks talks talks, every Taurus i know is stubborn, every Pisces I know is creative and tends to take things kinda personally... on and on.
I'm not going to say your belief on the subject is bs in the way you are saying to those of us who enjoy reading it... but I believe in what I believe and I respect your right to disagree.
ps. lighten up ~ it's all supposed to be fun anyways!

ya honestly - I don't know many girllie taurus women.
... No doubt - I'm not saying these write-ups were more or less accurate. I've read some very thorough ones on other sites and in books over the years. This one was just different from any that I've read. And apparently there's a lot more on each sign - these were just snippets from a book that were posted on someone's blog. (The particular book did get a lot of good reviews though)
(and some was really not accurate for me - but I have a Gemini enemy and she's freak'n evil and the stuff that does not apply to me sure as hell applies to her lol. Who knows why? Maybe life experience made me a little more compassionate... or made her even more of an evil biatch... hehe) |

If you want to prove astrology wrong, just go out and get your next year's forecast, then do the exact opposite of everything it says you're going to do. ;) |
