How would you feel if someone spray painted your house? Sure what he does is artistic but it still doesn't excuse him from obeying the law and showing respect to property of others. |

He is spray painting property that's not his without permission....that is vandalism. If I woke up one morning and found the side of my house spray painted with some picture on it...no matter how great the art is...I would still be pissed and if I found out who did it I would sue the out of them. |
Well in the case of Banksy your house's value would increase by 6 figures literally overnight. |

I think there's a difference between a building and a house...
I don't mind graffiti if it is well done and tasteful...
If I owned a building with a boring blank wall, I'd probably hire a graffiti artist to do a piece on it and would certainly not have a problem with this guys small but impressive work...
I like it... |

Last summer a house around the street from us kept getting vandalized with a huge red happy face. The first couple of times it was just the huge face, but after the second time the homeowners painted over it, the vandals returned and put "We're back!"
Something about that was so ing hilarious. |

Hahahaha that's so mean.
I agree with Nick though. There's a difference between a dwelling and a building. I welcome Banksy's art. It's quite unique.
Personally I'm a huge fan of more traditional graffiti art too. My cousin is a graffiti artist in L.A. It's amazing the talent that some of these artists have. |

If you're one of the uptight s who say all graffiti is the same, here's a prime example of the difference of 'tagging' aka /ugly graffiti & street art aka Banksy

^^^ prime example of a fkn loser who has no talent and chose to prove it over a Banksy. |

There's a lot of placed in toronto that are safe spots to put up work because its extra advertising . Keele wall along the subway line is one of them. Most graf artists aren't punk kids looking to cause vandalism.
