He is spray painting property that's not his without permission....that is vandalism. If I woke up one morning and found the side of my house spray painted with some picture on it...no matter how great the art is...I would still be pissed and if I found out who did it I would sue the out of them. |
Well, luckily for you, no graffiti artists are going to go out to Milton and paint the sides of houses in some subdivision.
Though, even in the city graff on houses is rare, more commonly found in alleys and blank concrete walls and doorways and warehouses and so on. Hopefully you can see the diffence between the two. |

Don't get me wrong Banksy's is pretty fresh. I wouldn't cross him out, just stating a fact ppl will do it. _
No matter who's art it is, if you feel like crossing them out ... just do it. Graffti & street art is all the same, it belongs to the streets and they have codes they all follow for their hate for each other. _
I use to graffti in the early 90s, was the first to do this famous spot 90% of us pass by everyday. There was no hate; after I quit, Toronto became like NYC, over crowded and the hate begain.___ |

I tweeted last month about a feud/graffiti war going on between a_well_known_graffiti_artist_w/_street_cred_called Robbo_vs_Banksy, back in their native England. Google it and check out how they're both attacking king each other's work. Much more tasteful and with style. Not like this fkn twat no talent ass clown who tagged over it in Toronto.
I too used to graffiti back in the early 90's along queen/dundas/and Scarborough with 2 other guys who still do it til this day. So I know what's what concerning the difference between tagging and an actual mural/street art. I've never respected taggers since back in the 80's cause they ruined many awesome works and gave graffiti a bad name. |

Found this comment on the interweb...........kinda interesting
| quote: | | Banksy is from Bristol as are the members of Massive Attack. Massive Attack just played 2 shows over the weekend with some time off on Saturday. 3D is a graffiti artist in his spare time... |

So, 3D has cited Banksy's work as an influence....and in this article here, Banksy cites 3d! DO HO HO!

What got you into graffiti? I know that you did more traditional graffiti at one point.
B: I come from a relatively small city in southern England. When I was about 10 years old, a kid called 3D was painting the streets hard. I think he’d been to New York and was the first to bring spray painting back to Bristol. I grew up seeing spray paint on the streets way before I ever saw it in a magazine or on a computer. 3D quit painting and formed the band Massive Attack, which may have been good for him but was a big loss for the city. Graffiti was the thing we all loved at school – we all did it on the bus on the way home from school. Everyone was doing it. |

I think there's a difference between a building and a house...
I don't mind graffiti if it is well done and tasteful...
If I owned a building with a boring blank wall, I'd probably hire a graffiti artist to do a piece on it and would certainly not have a problem with this guys small but impressive work...
I like it... |
if you are the owner of the building I don't think there is a difference to you...it is still vandalism...I don't care how tasteful and artistic it is.
If you hire someone to do graffiti art on your building then its not vandalism. |

The only difference is one is owned by an individual and the other is most likely owned by a business. It doesn't matter how you cut it...if you don't own the building or haven't been hired to spray paint the building you are breaking the law....I could care less if you spray paint the Mona Lisa on the wall...its still against the law and you should be treated like the criminal you are. |

so its okay if I spray paint your car...I promise it will be artistic. It doesn't matter what the property is.....you don't have the right to destroy someone else's property. |
