So where do people like Aly & Fila get their 'female' choral voice?

I have been wondering , where do trance producers nowadays get those female sounds? People like Aly & Fila , Neptune Project , that L'acrobat track ... All of them uses that female singing sound .

You can find that singing almost everywhere .. Songs like This Late Stage , Rosaries , Aztec...

But my question is , where do they get that sound? Or did they really recorded a singing of a female and.. Reverbed it?

What struck me about your post is that you state they are everywhere. Would it not be a good idea not to replicate something that is as you say everywhere ? Try being different.

yes that it is sample packs, a cheaper one it's Vengeance vocal sounds but it's more house oriented, not many soft vocals to add to a trance track

They would probably get the vocalist to sing them for them. As the vocalist will know it will get released.

i have this doubt sometimes, for example check this tracks:

- Marco V - Unprepared
- Richard Durand - Wheep

It's not a vocal loop, are real lyrics but there's no featuring XXXX on the title, i think it's a different agreement.

But when you hear a vocal chorus or a few words 90% of the times it will be a vocal loop from this packages.

they use sample packs.

The cost of hiring a professional vocalist will probably cost more than the money they make on the track. I'm stating this for that extremely virtuosic eastern style that you can't just find with craigslist. My girlfriend charges 300$ an hour and she is probably on the lower end of the pay scale.

The types of tracks with vocals that are in tune but aren't really feats of great musical performance are recorded as they can find any bimbo on craigslist that can hold a tune and make her feel like she is a star.

i guess too , also have noticed in my search of acapellas that some amateur vocalists give you free vocals and they only ask for recognition or just warning them that you used their samples on a track.

there is plenty of up and coming artist out there many will work for free to get signd.

just use google and dig around and hunt for some vocals most of what you're hearing is mainstream artists, who will have resorsess to pull on.

also you need to learn how to work with vocals its not as easy as some think.

have been searching for a sample pack like this, thanks ! I never liked the Vengeance vocal pack

But one thing that puzzled me , if artist really did use singers for vocals , how come they don't give them credits in the release? Like that Fake Awake track.

Mad for Brad
you don't have to.

A smart producer will find a voice and face and name as in the name of the singer to put to their productions to make it more marketable thus instead of dj Bumberdongle ft Tina Outer Space remix, you just get the track name , and the artist. Nobody cares about the producer except for a minute number of djs on beatport. And you wonder why your sales are so damn small. That format that everyone seem to take , producer name featuring First name , Last Name of some girl is what most would call awful marketing. I'm not sure if it is producer ego or stupidity but they really should stop whining when their sales reflect their bad business model.

on the other hand vocal tracks are usually more commercial, and adding the feat. Vocalist name it's like announcing that it's a vocal track and some people are so narrow minded that only buy vocal tracks.
