Unfortunately it's not up to us but it's something that should be changing in the near future if all goes right :)
The club owners are starting to realize what we've already been telling them. Hopefully they move the booth up sooner rather than later. |

I had an absolute great night opening for Kristina and Markus.
Very glad to have met the fellow TA's that I did. I'm sure I'll be seeing more of you all this Sunday.
Hopefully some of you got a CD and enjoyed it.

it was nice meeting up and seeing all of the fellow TA'ers, but as Dave said, the set itself, crowd, and sound seemed a little 'off'.
there was a moment where he was banging it out nice, but then it kind of slowed down...then went back up. another problem is the LED screens behind the DJ and dark lighting really make it hard to see the DJ, so you kind of lose that 'DJ/Crowd' connection.
i'm taking this as a 'warm-up' for this weekend...i'll hold judgment until after Avalon this Sun night.
(i have a bunch of videos I took, maybe i'll change my mind on the set progression after I take a look at them) |

woooow asian invasion for markus!!! lol! (i'm half asian, i'm allowed haha) got in line @ 9:10, got in about 10 minutes after they finally started letting people in at 9:30. that line doubled so fast!! i can only imagine what it looked like at 10:30 and after...
thought it was hilarious to see everyone practically run onto the dancefloor when they opened the curtain, but def a great sign! they loved Daniel :)
Sutra looked like it was over capacity at 11:00! it was soooooo packed. thank goodness some of my friends got bottles (their ONLY way in without waiting who knows how long) because there is NO way i would have made it past 11:30 in that madness of a dancefloor.
i thought it was a good crowd, not too many upity OC kids. from where i was i saw everyone hands up, clapping, and a lot of people walking by were singing :) the only thing that annoyed me was the table of etards next to us..oh well what can ya do... as for Markus, i havent listend to him in awhile, but i thought he was great. i used to see him every time he was at Vanguard (like most of you im sure) and it brought me back to that ;)
ps Sutra pplllleeeaasseeee get rid of the VIP tables in front of the dj booth or hurry up and raise it. i saw some dude doing the arms out dj pose thing right in front....really?! lmao. |

oomph last night was funnnnnn! the bottle service was decently priced for what it is, didn't have to waste too much time fighting to get a drink. it was good meeting you Dave, and the other colorado folks ;D

| Solid event after I found a spot where I stopped getting bumped into - some people really have no control over their bodies haha. Line wasn't too bad with express-it even being told the wrong line for entry and the free parking right there was perfect. Sutra is only 20mins away much better than LA or SD so that makes it worth it for sure. First time seeing Markus - he was great so was K. Sky, not bad for a Thursday =) |

| First time at Sutra and I was pretty impressed with the exception of VIP tables right in front of the DJ booth. Lame. Place was super PACKED but after a couple of STRONG drinks (guess I found the right bartender), I didn't care and just had a blast dancing my ass off to Markus with a boatload of friends. Very OC crowd but I would rather see that then, say, the Avalon crowd. Fun night and I can't wait to see Markus in Vegas!!! |

I enjoyed Kristina's set, Minaya was good too! Markus seemed typical, alright, more OC type set of course.
Sorry, I can't handle the venue like that. Can't see the dj, dealing with douches all night long. Bouncers were unreasonably awful. |
