read my thread again and quote me as to when i said ian van dahl was cheesy because of the commercial success its had?! did i say that? hmmmmmm i define cheesy music by the way the song is produced! the sounds used, the lyrics used, the way it is marketed and the audience its aimed at and FINALLY "cheesy music" IMO is only out to make money and is not out to be put down as legendary tracks such as Tiesto - Urban Train
Armin - Blue Fear
Ferry - ligaya
PvD - For an Angel
and all of the above have been doing awsome remixes for years! |

I used to like it. USED
this may be classified as trance but ain't real trance.. just some commercial cheesy .
however, it ain't the most annoying thing to listen to. At least I haven't heard it even once at the radio. And I'm glad I didn't. |

Yeah must be a commercial stuff but umm if you put it that way? what you call comercial songs??? the ones that play in the raido every 15 min????
then tiesto was really commercialized here.. in my memories every 15 min in the radio and other songs....
Now i like tiesto, paul aokenfold, ferry corsten dumonde and lot of good djs...
Now define me what is comercialezed for you???
As far i see commercialized songs are the ones that play in the radio every min....
Im wrong? correct me if i am =)
I admit i started hearing trance just like 10 months ago.... so i dont know soo much like most of you.

tiesto is going to start up a range of kitchen cutlery soon with aprons with his face on and mugs that when you drink your drink, you find his face at the bottom.
his face will be projected in all its smiling smileyness onto the moon by lasers. and we'll all sprinkle dust on our shoes and ride the moonbeams to Callordenril, land of the farey kings. until...the day of the eclipse!!!!!!:thepirate |

i would consider ian van dahl "euro-trance"
now there is nothing wrong with this, its pretty much it's seperate genre.
there are ALOT of songs like this, especially here this is the only kind of trance that will actually be played on the radio.
and some of the tracks are good, and some arn't.
you can like underground crazyness and some of this stuff too, its not a crime :D |
