I think for me everything will be compared to Tiesto's friday performance at the hammerstein ballroom. :eyes: [/QUOE]

Wholeheartedly agree. Best night ever!!!

the friday at hammerstein for the elements of life tour?

because that was the best night of my life. i might have also gotten his signed headphones that he threw at the crowd ;)

gina turner was on point. She had a ton of energy and played a very fitting set both nights.

As far as Tiesto goes, this definitely wasn't the best sets I've ever heard, but i thought they were very catered to the crowd, which was going nuts both nights. It was funny, because the first night, which seemed like a younger crowd, they went more crazy for i will be here and escape me then actually adagio or lethal industry, whereas the second night i thought a little the opposite. Funny how reactions change with age.

I'd love to hear trance Tiesto again, but it's not likely on the Jersey Shore. His set at Atlantic City was even more trance.

The visuals the first night had some technical difficulties with some of the video, one of the panels was on the fritz. The second night though, wow. The visuals about 2 hours in until closing were unbelievable, the graphics, the use of the strobe lights, i thought i was great.

Sets were definitely not trance heavy, some tracks he played:

Pursuit of Happiness, It's True, he killed some remix of satisfaction ( really dont like that song but it honestly wasnt that bad ), c'mon, et's get bleeped, feel it, bunch of kaleidoscope tracks (some new remixes), in the dark 2010 remix (highlight for me both nights), break my fall, and then the classics of course adagio, love comes again, silence, lethal...

Venue was DOPE imo. Right on the beach, I mean on Saturday I chilled on the beach at this place aqua bar attached to the venue, just drank all afternoon and laid out. Could even go inside the venue to use the bathroom and saw them cleaning up and setting up for the next show. Pretty cool. Besides the huge suprise of a big gay culture in the city of asbury park (but being told it was a very african american neighborhood at first), the city was pretty cool.

Good times, good people, great weekend all in all.

Went on Saturday night and had a good time. Hung out upstairs for the first 2 hours and then downstairs for the remainder. Sound and visuals were amazing. Afrojack remix was on point and I went crazy. Surprised I didn't hear a remixed Avicii song. Another plus was $7 mixed drinks. The popcorn was actually insanely good haha. Had to soak up some liquor.. :disbelief Was getting annoyed at how many times random topless dudes pushed through leaving all their sweat on you.. Disgusting.

All in all.. another regular Tiesto concert.

ummmm i didnt bad mouth tiesto at all i was just telling g dont even stress it

i stated my opinion about how his style has changed, if his new generation of fans like it then let them like it i could careless

but i will state a fact...if you took 100 of his old fans and asked them which style they liked better
fact is more then half will say his older style

Haha not trying to fight with you man take it ease never said you bad mouthed tiesto lol

just think it's counterproductive to be mentioning this on a 2010 TIESTO REVIEW thread, especially when you could "careless" about what people think of his new style...

If you took 100 fans of anything and asked them if they liked it the old way or the new way, they'd more than likely say the old, people don't like change in general dude
