this is how bad his new fans are.
i'm officially saving my ticket from friday cause this was the last time i spent money on this guy. his last hour was the only good thing about the whole night and i didn't even enjoy it cause of his ty electro house or whatever the he played his first 3 hours. i kept waiting for him to mix in some trance but his set had no flow..the guy was all over the place besides few good tracks here and there.
i seriously don't understand his new fans who are basically all these teenagers from high school or all these whores who has no idea about tiesto and are only there to pop pills for the first time. here's a text message from a friend who's not into this kind of music
"thanks love. i rolled for the first time n got a little sick. but it's effin awesome here"
like, if you asked them who "allure" is they wouldn't even know wtf ur talking about.
the sad part is he played the original mix of "lethal industry" first time in years (at least here in nj, ny area) and crowd was ok with it, and then he mixed in "i will be here" and the crowd was going APE . WTF??

This is all a product of the new album and his new sound......add in the jersey shore of all places and thats what you come out with...
I went into these shows not expecting to hear crazy trance all night..trust me i wanted to just as much as you all....but it wasn't feasible..
Wonder if this new release will be more of this sound.. |

| When I first heard Tiesto was spinning in NJ a few months ago, I was excited to go. As it got closer to the date, it really wasnt a big thing... I had a feeling it was going to suck..... had people I was friends with, just like Burak said, who dont know who Tiesto really is, popping pills for the first time, saying how good it was. Mention the name Allure, or any of Tiesto's songs that are not off of Kaleidoscope, nobody knows what they even are. SMH @ people trying to think they know oh so much. I was kinda glad that I didn't go after reading these reviews |

Also went with friends that aren't really into EDM. I found it pretty comical during the pre and post conversations about the show:
1. On the car ride there, I mentioned to my Dutch friend that a lot of great djs are Dutch. One girl goes, "Wait.......I thought Tiesto was Italian? What about David Guetta? Isn't he French? OMG he's so great!"
2. While there, Feel It in My Bones comes on and one of my friends let out a girlish shriek a foot away from my ear, causing me to jump a foot in the air.
3. Car ride home: "I didn't realize Tiesto was so good-looking....but isn't he gay?"
4. The next morning: "Wow, I can't believe he played until 4am, that was soooooo amazing"
All in all, a pretty comical experience lolol |

I was highly upset at this. I remember saying, "What kind of bull is this?" Never, ever been to a concert where they stopped serving anywhere before 3. Asbury Park = FAIL. :( |
