Whenever I pull all nighters (pretty much every time I write an essay), I around all night, getting only a paragraph done if I'm lucky, and then finish basically the whole paper in the final hour or two in the morning. I'd probably stop doing it if I didn't always get the marks I want.

Haha, I pretty much do this exactly.

When I was smoking weed heavily that actually helped keep me up as I seemed to get less tired over time. This does not work for everyone though, not at all. Cigarettes + Coffee are my true standbys.

Erm, I'm regularly awake at that time.

FREAK.

My sleep schedule has been around 4amish - 11amish for a while now, and with my new work schedule of 6pm - 2am shifts, I don't expect it to get any better.

I never have to wake that early as a consequence seeing the sunrise is special to me.

What electives will you be enjoying in the summer time?:gsmile:

Right now I'm taking Disaster Risk Management - which is essentially looking at the true nature of disasters in terms of the vulnerability of populations and their ability to cope and recover. It turned out to be better than I thought and ties in really well with concepts of community health. It's a 6 week course, my exam is on the 18th.

I'm also taking Child & Youth Centredness in Canadian Nursing. Easy ing course that looks at the Convention on Children's rights, and how the standards of nursing practice are used to protect children's rights. This course runs till the end of July.

Then starting in 2 weeks I'm taking another 6 week course - Abnormal Psych, which will also be a damn joke because I pretty much already took it when I did my mental health practicum. I find psych courses to be such a joke, but we're limited in what non-nursing electives we have access to.

I don't wake up that early. I'm still awake. If I've been to a club, if I've got friends round or if I just end up doing all night. I've had a few jobs that were evening shifts too.

To be honest I ing hate the birds chirping and the sun rising. Keeps me up even longer. My window has no curtains and when the sun rises it shines through and wakes me up.

I was just going to post that. I'm always still awake when the birds start to chirp and when the sun rises, right through my window onto my face, even through the blinds :(

Well, it's good to know we're all on the same page then.
