Mark that down on google maps or something, the world need to know of this phenomenon.
Maybe its a geographical thing though, havent eaten pizza south of Florence yet. The one decent pizza i remember eating in italy was...god damnit i cant remember the place or the town we were in. Somewhere near lake Garda. Or maybe it was just the awesome view that made the whole experience enjoyable. |

How can you tell it's a beautiful country if you only mention ruins? The north looks like Austria and Switzerland and is great for walking and cycling.
North, middle and south are very different.
I have been in Italy several times and the people are very friendly.
You better visit Italy ones to get a decent picture of the country and don't go to Rome, but visit the north of the country (Merano, Bolzano, Verona, Lago di Garda, Milan etc.)
Guess you didn't watch the Giro?
And yes, they should get rid of Berlusconi, but what's new about that? The rest of Europe already had this opinion years ago. |

What you think is decent pizza probably isn't for Italians. It's something what looks like pizza and was adapted to your country (and many others too).
Same for Chinese food by the way. Go to a Chinese restaurant somewere in Europe together with some visitors from China and they probably will ask you if you're trying to poison them. |

theres 2 italy's so you know and 2 prices. theres tourist italy where the food is tier and overprices and then theres normal italy. If youre italian you get a different price in some tourist spots.
just like venice there is tourist venice and then theres the part of venice where the local people actually live. and believe me thats a whole different type of venice |

Anywaaaay... I know about northern Italy... bunch of nazis. I know because my aunt lives there and is one. They don't even speak italian... they speak german. |
