I saw the African Serval at my breeder's place that she uses to breed Savannahs. It's ing big and scary... my wife crept up to it's cage and it was just laying there but hissed at her like it could bust through the cage any moment and rip her face off. The breeder said she was afraid to let a regular domestic cat in there to get it's on, figuring it would be torn to pieces, but I guess the Serval just laid back and let the other cat do its thing. haha |
Used to have a few of those on the farm in Africa, a mummy, daddy and 2-3 young ones. They eat chickens and your dog if you let him anywhere near one... if you made it mad, there is no way in hell you're outrunning it either. They move like a lightning bolt! |

| Most humans wouldn't even have a chance trying to outrun a house cat. Not in a sprint, anyway. ;) |

Well they're a savannah cat, very fast like cheetahs and roam a lot over their territory. Also had a Caracal on the neighbours property to the north which had a few more trees and ground cover. Bit more 'solid' in shape but roughly the same size with a tan coat, but with the Servals around he didn't mess with their territory so we didn't see him very often.
This is not either of those.
He was just old and kind of came with my first house :p
(Freebie!)
I let him out in the summer when he feels better to go kill things and lounge around in the sun, sort of getting to the age where I'll have to keep him inside more.
...especially after 'the rabbit' incident :o

Damn, if I ever will get a cat, it's definetly going to be one of those (bengals I mean). I bet they're expensive? |
