I had a chance to hang out with Ricky at his studio in Leicester a couple of years ago. He's a top guy and I'm sure he was absolutely gutted that he couldn't make the trip.

Hi Everyone, I thought I'd better post here to explain what happened. Ricky (Digital Blonde) had an accident crushing his leg and fracturing his knee cap, this only happened on Saturday morning before he was to leave.
Good God, that's horrible! Speedy and good recovery wishes to the Digital Blonde, that must have been quite a shock!
I look forward to the triumphant return of the 00.db pair, but only once the db can walk up to the turntables! :)

Honestly, i understand the angle of a promoter listing the group name when its just one of them going to show up - more in attendance - but that was pretty weak. Wasnt a fan of the mainroom much as from previous posts and this kind of brought my feelings towards 1015 lower. Not sure what the circumstances are around db not showing - if it was indeed last minute as in no time to even post on here - or if it was booked like that from the get go - so wont rush to conclusions. But pretty weak if thats how the booking was. J00F without db isnt 00db now isnt it? With some producers you can keep the name like rank1 or 4strings, but with 00db that means 00 + db. Least specify John 00 Flemming doing a 00db style set.

I nor 1015 would never ever false advertise. sometimes circumstances are out of any one individuals hands. If there were more time on my part there would have been a immediate response on TA in why 0.00db wasnt going to make it.
Be %100 sure 0.00db will be back to S.F..
John OO Fleming set was....oh my!
Main room with new lights, new laser, new visuals/screens & proper bumpin sound with packed room/balcony made the first night of INFINITI magical. Can not wait for this weeks double headliner RAFAEL FROST & MUSTARD PIMP & the up coming weeks.
Thank you to those who came out & showed support!
(nice to see peter & guiv/spundae in the house) :)

Taj - JOOF brought a great show on Saturday and we had a great time. Thoroughly enjoyed your closing set also.
There were a couple issues with at the club on Saturday that I thought I would bring to your attention. Most people will probably think I'm a dork for mentioning this, but if I were a business owner I would want to know.
First, there were people sitting all over the stairs all night long. I almost slipped once and had to catch myself on the rails. I saw a few other people that were very unsteady trying to weave through the people. Sooner or later, someone is going to get f'd up...
Second, both bartenders downstairs were freaking sissies all night long. They were throwing bottles, throwing their tips on the floor, shouting/cursing/being abrasive/aggressive with customers. I was amazed. Finally at 1:35, there were about 40-50 people trying to make it for 'last call'. By the time that 1:45 arrived, about 10 people had been served solely because both of the bartenders were fighting and causing drama. Then they started shouting and removed the cash registers. I thought I must have mistaken and gone to a drag show or something, There's no reason why everyone couldn't have been served. I was at Ruby for Marcus Schulz on Sunday and their bars are freaking professional businesses. They were cranking out the drinks.
Later on I wanted to buy a water and after 5am, there was no one tending any of the bars.
At the end of the day, I'm not greatly concerned for how profitable 1015 is. But I do care when I can't get a drink at last call and I see fellow party goers being mistreated by hostile drama queen bartenders. FYI

thank you for the info schuey99. 1015 will approach these aspects & do our best to improve.

Visuals have been totally redone for the mainroom at 1015. From the view of our new tech John (Who actually bears a striking resemblance to James Holden), Phase one of the project is almost complete, phase two, three is being done over the coming weeks.
With a new computer being in house, and hotpluggable ability, anyone can bring in a macbook or separate laptop for more visuals. This makes setting up things to run a breeze. Everything is also midi and touch controlled, colors, and visuals are either programmed, or created live!
I've also upgraded and installed a brand new program and calibrated the laser system for more effects... still working on it to get a few things right. We are now able to write things out and animate anything, even upload a visual someone brings to us or add it to the laser, like the anjunabeats logo or something. The ballast mirrors are back too, so now we can shoot the lasers across the room like how it looked years ago which was really cool. Im working on making it sound reactive as well, hopefully within the next few weeks.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the Visuals above the DJ Booth as well, as the older screens around the 4 corners of the mainroom are now gone. People commented that it makes the room darker, so it brings out more of the newer lighting.
Once everything is complete, similar screens will be placed around the club so you are completely encompassed by visual effects, without overdoing its appeal. Its only basic for now, but VERY COOL. I also really like seeing the new bar open upstairs, a new view overlooking the mainroom. People seemed to be having fun up there chillin. If you wanna sit down go upstairs, theres plenty of places to sit and lean, etc.
Lastly, opening up at 10 o'clock giving openers more time to play is awesome. Got to hear a really bangin set by Ismael.
Lookin forward to Saturday. With both me and Beaver dropping tunes from Rafael from time to time, I really hope to hear this track from him!

Let me start off by saying I have being going to 1015 since it was called Das Klub and that I LOVE the place.
Went to see J00F on Sat cos I thought an, up close an personal experience would be great to have since we saw him the week before at EDC.
We were not disappointed from a musical standpoint. Thank you John for your passion and energy we could SEE it on your face.:-)
As far as the rest of the evening…
I start off by saying…WE MUST TAKE BACK THIS CLUB!!! There were so many people that were simply taking up space doing nothing. What happened to PLUR? The level of rude behavior was unbearable. From the people camping out on the stairs, the cigarette smoker’s to those walking back and forth across the dance floor as if it was a bike path. I took my friends who is here from Japan and their comment to me was and I quote, “what is with all the old Asian wanabe-gangsta-types always trying to stare people down?” Seriously…what is that?
Our music, our seen, our place in the universe is about inclusion and acceptance. It’s about joy, pleasure and respect…sadly many if not most of those in attendance on Sat were of another ilk and we must TAKE BACK THIS CLUB. People have said they fear going to 1015 because of the crowd...after Sat I can see why they say what they do but I refuse to accept it and give up on a place that I LOVE and have enjoyed for so many years.
Suggestions / Comments welcomed....
Namaste

I agree with this.
But coming from San Diego I am used to "kool kids" like these that are bartenders.
I had to literally pull out a $20 bill and give it to the bartender to even get the dudes attention. And then he helps me with a moxy like if I owned him my life. It was a moxy that came from part being a douche and part being messed up on something.
I normally wouldn't have brought it up but since someone else did i decided why not...
