hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaouchmyingheadhurtshahahahahahahahahahaha!

What a GREAT day. The music on the whole boat was that right kind of upbeat fun summery house music with the right amount of sleazy funky sexy grooviness. And I'm not even talking about just Demi and Omid either. I'm talking about the whole boat. the music on both decks was tops!

As much as Demi and Omid rocked it, the fabricated deck was incredible too. Chilling out on the front of the boat while Mat Coleridge was rocking the lower deck was definitely a highlight of my day. Jeff Button played some killer tracks as well.

The crowd was amazing too! So many awesome people all around, every one was so friendly, not pushy at all, every one was really talkative, it was great!

Way to go Liv + Fabricated for throwing an awesome boat cruise. In fact, the best cruise I've ever been on.

The afterparty at solarium was tops! Wow, Chris irGO layed down such a fantastic freakin' set it's not even funny. Thank you sir for playing 'that rhythm track' and 'one night in tokyo' ... hahahah I completely lost it when I heard those coming through that kickin' soundsystem in there.

The rest of the day is just a blur, I somehow ended up at cherry beach, back to solarium, and tryst.

HAPPY ING CANADA DAY!!!! I'd say this has been the best one yet.

I didn't do the boat - although I heard 1000 times over how it amazing it was... but I want to comment on the after party.

OMGWTF JEFF BUTTON! He said he was going to play something similar to his most recent set and oh , boy he ever. The sexiest set I have ever head in a club. I am loving this new avenue he is exploring. Its deep and sexy... you can feel the sexual tension in the air... and leaves you feeling upbeat and loving life. I could have not asked for a better vibe, with the sun beaming through the glass of the solarium and the people on the dance floor loving every second of it. It was fun to see Omid and Demi having a blast dancing and mingling with the crowd. Super nice guys who clearly loved this party.

Omid and Demi took over after Jeff. They played much better than the 2 other times I've seen SOS. Great vibe. Great Party. (Could have been busier but oh well... no complaints about a small intimate demi and omid party)

10 dollars well spent!

I attended the cruise and glad to see some familial faces. We were so lucky to have such amazing weather and great crowd. No late departures and boarding and getting tickets were easy... thanks Jeff again. The tunes were top notch and could not ID a single track and thats what I liked. A well needed change from the regular parties I attend! My friends from south of the border were nice enough to celebrate Canada day with us and miss their fourth of July. Got my face sunburnt but thats okay, I never see them selling sunscreen and don't bother taking some since I was told they will take it from you while boarding.
The afterparty however was a complete miss for me:( I only had about 3 drinks and decided to get something to eat on the side of solarium.. chilled and just layed back by the water. An hour or so after that I decide to make my way to the afterparty with me new friend and she gets in but security decided I was too intoxicated. Honestly I watched how demi go in after he had to speak with Security for awhile and he was definitely drinking more than I. They let him in and afterwards I overheard security talking about how annoying he was and his attitude. So I say to them ' I know what it is, I am not a dj.." I laugh and they just simply say they have the right to make the call. Whatever I don't think I missed out too much as I saw video from my American friends and the small crowd seemed weak.

Overall a great time... ended the night watching some fireworks over the lake.

Happy Canada day ... err.. boat cruise day !

They were super tight about who they were letting in... I've never been told to remove my glasses to get my pupils checked.

I actually really liked the fact that it wasn't too busy, especially since I'd just come off of a RAMMED boat cruise. That's one of the reasons I didn't go to Tryst, because I knew it would be crazy busy. It's a large venue, so it would have been hard to pack, especially with so many other great afterparties going on across the city. Also, most people were outside on the patio, not inside, since it was so gorgeous out. It felt more like a private party, because almost everyone there, I knew :) I really have no complaints about the party at all. Even though it wasn't busy, it was still really fun.
