Nope not part of that evil cabal. But I am a banker I guess so I'm part of some evil cabal. Whenever I get my bonus it's going straight to S.P.E.C.T.R.E so rest assured I'm doing my utmost to screw over humanity. However despite my "defense" of the fed in the PDD, if its any consolation to the people I've argued against, they are legitimately making life miserable for me. I always enjoy some good schadenfreude.
Besides that, things have appeared to become rather ... contentious since I've been here last. And I was never the most civil of folks. |

While that's true, one would think that even in a world that has a predilection for valuing ignorance over intelligence that the intelligent folks would have the wherewithal to at least pretend they're stupid to survive in said world and take advantage of the retards discreetly. Ummm what? Myself, who hasn't posted in the PDD or on tranceaddict for about a year or two, or PKC (who is apparently a one man troll army) is responsible for the PDD's downfall? Wow, I never realized I yielded such incredible influence over a forum that I perhaps posted once a week on in my heydey. But by all means, continue to be cowed into submission. I will check up on things in a years time or 5 years time to ensure my dominance is supreme ... although I would challenge you to point out any single thread where I relegated to using ignorance or name calling prior to addressing that argument's salient points. Once again i missed a good idiot bashing AND the return of occrider :(
I actually think youtube was the downfall of PDD, it used to be a place where educated minds from across the idealogical line clashed on a daily basis, occasionally joining forces to put some idiot fundie in his place. Ah the good old days when just reading a single post and all the referenced links in it took you the better part of the hour, more if you actually wanted to understand any of it, but in exchange you came out smarter at the end of it.
Nowadays youre more like to encounter a troll that thinks that everything you possibly want (or need) to know about any given subject can be neatly compacted in a youtube friendly 10 minute long conspiracy vid. And even those get scared off rather quickly when confronted with logic and facts. |
