This is the self-affirming logic of the conspiracy theorist. Anyone who opposes him is either a mindless sheep, is brainwashed by "the media" or is In On It. Of course, any vaguely reputable sources such as education, books and experts are figures of The Establishment and are also In On It to varying degrees and thus count for nothing in a debate.
By contrast, anyone who agrees with the him is a free-thinker who sees things as they really are. By daring to think against the grain, they have automatically and almost irrevocably demonstrated their intelligence in a way no contrary perspective ever can. This is particularly true of those free-thinkers who encase their intelligence in the form of Youtube videos and websites.
Far from creating a one-sided circular mindset that denies any possibility of a rational opponent, this thinking is actually the most infallible way of stripping the lies and bull from the Truth. |

I don't know if you've heard of or read him, but this reminds me of Robert Jay Lifton who's done some fairly intensive work investigating totalitarian thought reform. He's a bit of a heavy read but you might like him. |

Why can't you debate what you've learned from Mises here? Kind of lame to just tell us, "Go read about it!" It's also not like we don't know what the Austrian school believes.
