...the best revenge is massive succcess. -a guy named Frank Sinatra

of course massive success is relative, but it is sufficient here in comparison to the lack of success by those often wearing the music pundit hat...

For some reason, I don't see Richie Hawtin, Dubfire or Slam playing this, among some of the others listed.
dynomite8
here is the dj feedback. seems like orde miekle from slam is playing it. couldn't say if dubfire or richie hawtin would play these. probably not, but reaction sheets are how you write up dj support.

Slam Orde: liking Chic Sheik - playing -thanx
Dubfire: downloading thanks
Adam Shelton: love run around, heard this first on lee's kubicle mix, thought it was the stand out track on there and is for me the stand out track on this e.p. really nice.
Gavin Herlihy: first three tracks are cool....the Hot Natured sound is obviously developing nicely
Kiki: "run around" & "chic sheik" are my picks! sunshine music!
Hector: Great full support !!!!
Anthony Collins: nice ep
Rob Mello: Really good. An EP with no fillers... Wow!
Jamie Odell (Jimpster): Love the sound of U Got Me and Run Around. can see why Run Around is becoming a biggie for the summer months. look forward to playing it at Garden Festival on Friday.
Chris Duckenfield: Loose trousered tackle, ideal for summer crews who've bee bludgeoned at Paranoia bar Fluffy
Severino: Happen for a reason is cute.... Chic Shek is interesting too...
Tom Craven: For me 'Run Around' and 'Chic Sheik' are my favourite! Wicked Melodies and vocals... am fully down with this release and Mr Foss. Another strong EP.. cheers
Desyn Masiello: i will hammer u got me, really warm and amazing atmosphere to build a set. many thanks desyn
Will Saul : A superb EP. Lee, Jamie and the Hot Ceations label is so spot on at the moment. Bass lines baby!!
Tim Green: great release. Like both u got me and run around! will play them out for sure. thanks
Nathan Gregory Wilkins: U Got Me has done just that (got me). Top class
Burnski: happens for a reason is my fav. nice!
Danny Tenaglia: thanx!!
Minz: these track have a real nice musical feel to them.
Ewan pearson: I think you probably know how much I like Lee's stuff now, but anyway it bears saying again. He's doing awesome things and this doesn't disappoint. I will be hammering "U Got Me" and "Run Around".
Groove Armada promos: hot creations continues with another stunning release nice tunes!
Silicone Soul: cool release! tripped out soul perfect for the summer floors big thanks!
MANDY (Get Physical): Download for M.A.N.D.Y.
Groove Armada (Tom Findlay): liking chic sheik for a party/disco set
Layo: really good ep
Meat: a kind of cheesy, but i liiiiike it!
Craig Richards: JUST MOODY ENOUGH TO BRING HAPPINESS TO THE DANCEFLOOR.
Gadi: This EP is the real deal! it's been a long time since I've been excited to play 3 tracks out of a single EP. I think Foss might be a re-incarnation of the dude that was making hits for Janet Jackson back in the day Great Job!!!
Subban : Tight EP this.
Ralph Lawson: this is fun summer stuff
D. Ramirez: Nice One! Downloading on behalf of D. Ramirez. Thanks!
Richie Hawtin: downloaded for richie hawtin
Damon Martin (Disco Bloodbath): Killer release. Love 'You Got Me' and 'Run Around' and will definitely be playing both.

Geddes; u got me is cool, nice track. run around isn't so much my vibe, girls vocal isn't great. same goes for third track

5 times more expensive, takes time to arrive, forces the dj/listener to have a vinyl deck?

i'm not sure i understand your point, i've done enough releases and worked w enough labels to know its extremely rare to get reactions/downloads from hawtin for example or tenaglia. if they respond w a positive reaction sheet it means there is a chance they are playing it and that they at least like it. i don't play every release that i like in nightclubs, but that doesn't mean i don't play it or support it.

i personally thought it was cool that some artists from different genres than the ones that interest me enjoyed it or apparently in d ramirez's case his track picker did.

My point is exactly that: while oftentimes labels will claim that an artist is supporting their music, that is not always necessarily the case, at least from my perspective, which is that supporting implies actually playing it out at commercial events in front of a crowd. Obviously your definition of "supporting" varies slightly from mine, which is why we seem to have trouble agreeing with one another.

Just saying that I think an artist liking a certain release is different from them actually supporting it. Obviously I'm aware of the generic "downloaded for Richie Hawtin" or "downloading thanks", which really mean nothing as far as I know.

Anyway, my original comment was intended for humor and nothing else. I was just messin';)
