Have you considered buying a tv stand that's meant to fit in corners? Our living room is actually quite similar to that set up, although I wouldn't call it small. Corner tv stand saved our ass.

I'd say the room was about the same width as that, maybe just a touch smaller, but definitely not as long. You may be onto something with that corner TV stand. Couple it with one of those 3 piece corner sofas and we might be onto a winner here. |

I love functional furniture, period. I cannot ing STAND clutter. I actually had to convince my dumb bf that the storage ottoman was the way to go, and of course he loves the thing. All our cds/music are in there, plus it's good for putting drinks down when you flip it to the tray side.
Anyway, this is the other one. All the Rock Band gear is in there, plus DJ Hero, Dance Dance mat...etc. Got this bad boy at Costco.

yup..those things are great...not only do they make great use of space, but they are comfy too! Coffee tables are so 1986 imo. |
