This thread is turning into a horror movie. :nervous:
I'm out!

I watched a neurologist perform a lumbar puncture on my dad, draining his spinal fluid. It was ing epic to watch, and although it looked painful and he jumped and winced as the doctor shoved a needle into his spine, my old man remembers nothing. I'd probably watch it again if given the opportunity. :wtf:

Also, when I was having some cardiovascular tests done, for one of them they had to rapidly pump a bunch of contrast fluid into a vein in my arm. I forget which test it was for, but the fluid gives you a warm, buzzing sensation that you can feel spreading throughout your body as the solution is pumped around. Very odd and kind of interesting feeling.
I'm guessing Ania hasn't ever done deep throat. My advice is next follow the dr. advice and let them put you under so it won't ruin your day.

I had a colonoscopy today. We listened to The Wall during it and I watched the screen the whole time, it was actually quite awesome.
I have pictures, too. You're all getting Christmas cards this year.

Why the hell did they not knock you out for that?!?
I've had several endoscopys and a colonoscopy as well as a load of other medical tests. Every *scopy I've ever had I've been knocked out for.
Colonoscopy sucked for the time leading up to it :(
Endoscopy's I've never had a problem with. Not bad at all, actually. Just get knocked out and feel a bit out of it when I wake up, which is fun!
Colonoscopy I actually was filled with gas which sucked because I had terrible cramps all through my body for a few days afterward.
Edit: Hal why the did they not knock you out, either?
The is wrong with you people's doctors? :wtf:

Pretty basic but, I had a sonogram of my heart a few months back. My mortality had never struck me so profoundly until I saw my heart valves in operation.

This was before I went vegetarian. Had little-to-no problems since then.
Nice try, though :p

Since prostate cancer is rife in my family, I get my prostate checked. 3 times a day.
