best comment so far = "I'm not an idiot, i dj myself" :haha:
just epic...it won't be as epic as the circus thread from a few years back, but the i predict lots of crackers to make the lulz.

He just meant that he buys music to mix so he's aware of track names probably more than many in attendance there. No reason to knock him.

so you are saying if you hide a guest dj behind a curtain and don't tell people who is playing that guys that buy music will be able to say who is playing?
for tiesto for sure, but come on.
"i'm not an idiot, i'm a dj" is a t shirt worthy expression imo.
i'm thinking of making them in blue and pink...what size would you like?
WittyHandle
You really think Bal en Blanc is going to pay for a guest DJ? Or a curtain? Pre-mixed CD all the way.

haha.. wow guys.. this thread is turning into pure jokes. Again, as I said to Malek and in my original post. "I'm not an idiot, I dj myself" - as in, I can tell the difference when there is someone in the tent playing music on a pair of CDJ's, mixing and that the actual music he was playing was coming out of the speakers in the tent. It doesn't take a retard to figure that one out :p
Schadenfreude
i'm not making fun of you as much for that..it just struck me as a lulz worthy catch phrase.
i'll only make fun of you for going to see tiesto...promise.:p
christ on a bike, someone posted a tracklist in the event thread and i recognized so many tracks. Considering it is all the same stuff he played when i was pilled enough to go see him (aria days), and i listen to 0 trance...i just thought it so funny.
i think creator said it best once.
"if i had to play the same tracks every night for 10 years i think i would kill myself".
something along those lines at least:p

Umm the main reason why traffic was so effing slow was because there was construction or at least according to the Iphone GPS...so we re routed and seriously got there in about 10 minutes.
We got in at like 12 30PM dranked in the parking lot till about 2pm. I was expecting a big line to go in but it was seriously a joke. The people barely checked our tickets. I got two people in without having their tickets checked.
One thing I really hated was the amount of cops. Like do you really need to have K9 units out there ? its stupid. Yeh I get it they don't want drugs to come in but its not like someone is bringing a kilo of coke in there.
One reason why I prefer Toronto parties as of late is because one, I don't feel like I am a ing terrorist or prisoner and two the staff is much friendlier. Montreal should really go to Ibiza and Vegas and take notes on how to throw down well organized events.
I wanted to go back to my car at around 4 pm to get more money since I did not bring my wallet, I had extra tickets to get back in and they literally didn't allow me to leave.
And another thing...if you are throwing a party where you know people from all over the country might come down to have the logic to at least have some bilingual people working at the event. Its pathetic that people from villages out side of Canada know more and better english then 90 percent of people living in Quebec.
The vibe at the party was good...tiesto dropped some good tunes all around...the audio guys failed...thats not only emberassing for the club but for the dj as well...the set up a little weird but bareable. It was a different experience as I've always seen Tiesto in a club or arena. Beach club could be an super fun place with few minor tweaks.

please dont start with this ignorant comment. if you dont like quebec, stay in toronto.

yes let's stop this right now, this is Pointe-Calumet, not downtown Montreal. I don't expect to be served in Ottawa in French, our bilingual federal capital, let alone butt, Ontario.

Scott Hall once wrestled drunk, a huge no-no as you could easily paralize your opponent that way with one botched move
less importantly :p no surprise about the logistical nightmare for this gig, too bad for the new ppl who didn't know any better. Have the feeling next month's Ibiza will only be slightly better unless the event is appropriately managed for the attendees.
