them!!! they are the only guys in techno clubs who can be aggressive easily... thats the zone problem sometimes |

Amazing set. I got there around 3am with other friends and I'm glad I walked in when it was packed. It was nice to see the boys ripping it up on the decks but shortly after I went upstairs to Skybar in hopes of avoiding the line up if there was one. Once on Skybar I was up there for about 2-3hrs until i realized that C+C were not going to be coming up. M+S were killing it the last hour or so when we were forced to come down.
As soon as i entered the main room C+C were up there killing it. Which leads to me to believe there were playing since I got there. Either way I am totally happy they stayed in the main room. They were playing a nice progressive set that suited the main room more than skybar. And yes the start stop, start up idea of them with the skybar set was thrown out the window but who cares cause the last 2-3hrs they were rocking the main room like i havent heard in a very long time. The last hour or so was pure magical and i couldnt believe my ears. for me to say this is rare, because its been so long since ive heard 1 or 2 djs playing in there. this can be for many reasons. 1 they are playing at guv for the first time and are very excited. 2 them playing approximately 5 hrs so they had time to play.... carry on their set because they didnt play on skybar... then finally realizing they were going no where decided to kill the sound system until closed the place out. and maybe 3. those guys really reacted to the crowd and wanted to give an unbelievable performance.
all in all im happy i went and im happy the entrance was $25 LOL. |

C&C played TRIBAL TRIBAL at beach club and noooo shortage of it this time ;)
Fun in the sun tribal that made everyone move! Lots of drums and percussion. Iberican sound too!
They definately brought their A games. Both Chus and Ceballos had equal time on the decks and in fact I thought Ceballos was the better of the two!! He was dropping BOMBS everytime he was on:crazy:
Although it would've been awesome to see them play in guv - I prefer seeing them in an outdoor element when they play drummier
It was Docks like tribal if that makes sense (think Solarium before Lawler on Canada Day 07 and in main room for St Patricks day 07 party with DJ Vibe). Awesome atmosphere and beautiful people! |
