I disagree. I'm deeply enamoured with my fiancée but it doesn't prevent me from asking myself what love means when I'm in a more philosophical state of mind. Or, in a more absurd conclusion, only those yet to be born would ask about the meaning of life, for they're the only ones that don't know it yet :p

This being said, "friendship" is hardly a monolithic word with just one meaning (Aristotle had a very incipient but enlightening typology of friendship, for example). There are several kinds of friendship, and I'll talk about them after I come back from uni tonight.

It's a Miles Davis reference, Lira. I really don't see the point in this question. It's impossibly broad and vague. There are many relationships you have with others that are called "friendship".
