Yeah, lynch directed the 80s film, not the series you’re talking about. Is that children of dune? I forget. Should I watch it? I know ive asked you this before but I have a memory like a sieve.

You should watch the SyFy miniseries (Dune and Children of Dune), they're not bad, the second one is kind of good.

..and if you don't like Dune, I've got a sandworm aimed square at your butt hole.

I liked the first book when I was a kid. Don’t remember much about it though. sand. Royal houses. Worms. Spices.

I know he did, and it's horrible. Hence why I said "no".

it turned to recommendations, but i actually wanted to know what you guys thought about the three films i mentioned....i know he leaves a lot for the spectator to make his/her own analysis. And he also has disconnected scenes sometimes.

My fav's

Wild at heart
Twin peaks
Blue velvet
The Elephant man
Mulholland drive
Lost highway

Note on Mulholland drive : initially it was intended to be a TVflick , they put a little bit more money into it and made it into the theathers ... months later he was nominated at the Cannes Film Festival for best director and won the award.

ok you guys are tough

what scenes pop into my mind when i think about these lynch movies

Wild at heart: when nicolas cage is driving thtough the desert at night and and image of a flying angel with laura derns face apears next to the car ... suddenly "chris isaks wicked game" song is inserted.

Twin Peaks: the migdet dancing in a basement at the end of the movie

Blue velvet: Denis hoper inhaling some type of druggie air through an air mask

The Elephant man : anthony hopkins * flash backs*

Mulholland drive: a blond doing an audition and a weird man next to the director saying "this is the girl"

Lost highway : the main character being inside a jail going through a mental metamorphosis and turning into a completely different guy ( even physically :wtf: ) ... so the cops had no other choice than to let him go free.

Another fun fact: Christopher Walken was originally slated to be Han Solo. :o
