This is how I know you're gay. There's 2 chicks ing twice in the movie, and this is the scene you remember...

one of the most memorable scenes from 'mulhullond drive' is when the 2 detectives walk out of the cafe, and run into the big hairy monster. i remember watching that for the first time, and was like "wtf! where did this come from?"
Cloudburst
Big hairy monster?

It was just a bum with a dirty face.
WittyHandle
Yeah but Lynch made that bum incredibly scary, evidence of his skill. It probably didn't help that I was on a significant comedown when I saw it in the theater :nervous:
Cloudburst
Well yes, I freaked out as well. :p

wow i never made this far into the movie, it was miserably boring, what a waste of 90 minutes.

The only good scene was the mafia guy vomiting his espresso lol... gold.

The rest was garbage.
Chimney
He's a good director.

The scene happened in the first half hour of the movie.

I love Mulholland Drive. You have to view it as though it were an entire night's elapsed dreams - the ins and outs and wrong turns and dead ends- kind of runs parallel to the dreamland that Hollywood is supposed to be. It's not complicated, nor is it any more pointless than any other movie, really.
