Actually, you did personally attack me by making unfounded negative comments about people who were born in Toronto (i.e. myself, my friends and family).

I strive to one day reach your level of enlightenment Dr. Jayx1.

What's to know? If you display such a bad attitude in real life as you do on here, then I know enough. , , etc.

Its interesting how contentious this issue is. And it really does hit at the pride and/or insecurities that people may have.

Of course NOT ALL torontonians are the same. But the collective mood of the city is not a friendly one. Tara even you couldnt help but to notice how chill people in montreal were publicly compared to toronto when we were up there!!

The problem here is that yes there are a lot of great people. But in toronto there is a very thick wall up around most of them which doesn't allow for their real personalities to show through and leaves them very defensive. Again, this stems from insecurity mostly.

I suppose some people who are used to it, or possibly even part of the problem dont see a problem with it though.

I find it funny how you fail to understand that what seems to be a lot of us having a polar opposite experiences with peeps in Toronto - and you write it off with ridiculous reasons :) Collective mood in Toronto is not an unfriendly one by any means (the only time it was, was during the dreaded G20 weekend)

"very thick wall up around most of them which doesn't allow for their real personalities" - this made me laugh and go huh?! at the same time - you really need to get out of your boonies more often and being at Guv every weekend does not count :gsmile:

No a personal attack would be something like "Highroller, you are an idiot". Not an opinion on a vast group of people which you may or may not be included in.

Fair enough but it ALL depends on who/what you focus on.

I used to focus on the negative douchebags wherever I went. (b/c I felt it ruined my experience) I laughed at it almost to where I was constantly thinking negative about certain area's or kinds of parties in the city. The trick is to not let it bug you. I'd say find things that are GOOD about the situation and try and expand on those??

Once you're more open to everything it's a lot easier to see the good. :)

I was just in Nyc last weekend, so many friendly people everywhere.
