do you like something because it is actually good, or just because a lot of other people (esp your friends) like it, and it's the trendy thing to do... (esp among teens) |

I agree 100% So many haters talking but Id like to see these people achieve half of her success at 24 years of age. I dont listen to her music but you have to give credit where it is due.

Good music is subjective. What is good to you might be to someone else and vice versa. |

I disagree with whoever says that she is not creative. To me she is trying to bring the creativity back into performing... something that use to be done all the time before at concerts, in videos. (Janet, Madonna, Timberlake etc.)
I am in no means comparing GaGa to the aformentioned, but when you went to one of their concerts you got big, flashing, glam, eye catching entertainment. I think she's doing a great job. |

Be thankful Bieber isn't from close to where you live. He makes the local news here all the time just cuz he is from Stratford :rolleyes:
Definitely not a fan of Gaga either. When you are stuck listening to regular radio during the day at work and have to hear her songs over and over again... blah! They are overplayed and not good in the least bit. |

ok.. am i on crack or did those two songs sounds NOTHING ALIKE. its funny how alot of you people rant on about people copying eachother and "oh she has no talent etc" when the foundation of electronic music is based on ripping / sampling original work and creatively manipulating it and calling it ones own (or sampling a completely unknown track and calling it ones own wihtout doing much to it).
... and they sound nothing alike. |

HAHAHA! That was my argument last night with a fellow TA.
Although I think they are 'similar'.... Worse has been done in the pop scene... I just think its hypercritical for anyone who understands the history of EDM.
I think shes awesome. Not my taste. But pure awesome. |
