You know cucumbers make for an excellent substitute. Especially in your ass. |

| Yes, cucumbers are quite the substitute. |

I dunno, you're looking pretty ripe today. Perhaps this should do the trick.

I'll bring the butter.
You bring your overalls. |

| Kentucky has better butter than your garbage Miami butter. Oh, and what was with Lebron against the Knicks? Miami wants him to take all the last shots and he loses games when his shot is cold. |

LeBron's shot hasn't been falling lately. Such is basketball.
The other guys need to step up. I bumped the other thread. |

Heaps of options, don't be lazy! :p |
My advice would be to get a rice cooker.
You should also look at learning how to cook Dal and how to use spices before you go absolutely  trying to live off sandwiches.
Pastas are also a good option for keeping full, but in saying all this you will need to spend more time cooking than you would otherwise. |

Meeeh, it's lunch. A sandwich once a day is hardly a big deal, especially since it's a short time period where she needs a quick meal in the middle of the day.
I missed the part where Mel said she had access to a microwave though.
Mel: Start making pasta dishes or rice/stir-fry dishes for dinner, and make enough so you have leftovers. Get a microwavable container or two, and take your leftovers to work to eat the next day. Heat, eat, win. Easiest answer.
Just remember the fork to eat with :p |

One of my favourite meals is lunch specifically because of the sandwiches. Breakfast is always a mishmash of things, dinner is so formal. That leaves lunch to go crazy at that lovely gourmet sandwich like it's the last thing you'll ever eat.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.....sandwiches. Om nom nom! |

I think pasta and rice are okay occasionally, but I would try to avoid meals where the bulk of it consists of grains.
If you get tired of soy-based analogs, you can always use eggplant (the other white non-meat). |
