I'm taking my first year of Anatomy (a 4 hour lab/lecture). Oh god... hold me. :nervous:

I liked Physio more.

Anatomy sucks but the labs are fun. Thank god for lab as it pulled up my grade!

Mine were also 4 hours :nervous:

Pshaw. Anatomy isn't hard. It's just the volume of work that makes it's difficult, imo.

Don't agree. During the first semester it was boring as hell. We had an university professor in anatomy that stressed the outta us with questions.

Second semester was better. We started dissecting bodies and it was fun, however it got boring after a while.

How "deep" are you studying it? Most of the people in my class flunked. I managed to pull it out although i didn't study alot (about 3 hours a day, each day during entire semster) Anatomy requires a great deal of work and even more repetition since most of the nomenclature is complicated. The fact that we have to learn it in latin too doesn't make it better.

I got one semester left next year which deals with the nervous system.

good luck

That is what I am worried about, I'm a bit of a slacker (plus I work at Hard Rock 30-40 hours per week).

I've had four years of Latin, so if the professor breaks it out on us I'm ready. Otherwise its a basic overview; I don't think we're working with bodies this semester, since it is a level 200 class.

What the hell do you do in that class for four hours (and more importantly, how do you stop yourself from tuning out)?
Chimney
You gotto find it interesting. If you don't like it, why bother?

You'll be fine. If you're serious about doing well, you'll make it happen.

Well, since I am in the health field, I am competing in Anatomy with Nursing, PT & OT students. Anatomy was a pre req to getting into the OT program (and its the first 23 students beginning with the highest GPA). I had to focus. I had to pay attention.

I also studied with nursing students because they desperately need A's (more competitive) PT & OT are B students :haha:

Gotta do it girl. Lots of extra time at home re-reading the chapter.

Anatomy was 1 full semester and Physio was another.. w/ lab as well.

oo I got a really good website at home. Gotta find it for you. I youtube'd professors lectures (since all anatomy books are almost all the same - not much changes)

Anatomy is honestly pretty easy...

What helped me was drawing everything then labeling it all. Its all straight memory.

If its really that bad, send me a pm and Ill see if I can find all my anatomy notes and pictures. Ill send them to you.
