Ryan!!! I heard! I saw Luzz about a minute after u left icrymuch.

What time did you get in? You were right by the door when I went in and I saw him and Karin a few times throughout the night.

Also, did you spend most of your time on the roof? I don't think I saw you until you bummed cigarettes, and that was after they left, I think.

I was pretty well behaved earlier on in the night (which is when I'm talking about).

That's kind of funny...I mistook someone else for you and introduced him to Ammora, Ben & Mel as you...that went over well.

Big party foul. :(

That's definitely not an excuse for what happened, but in his defense he's been horribly sick since Burning Man. He picked up something really bad there and actually had to cancel a gig in here in LA because of it. Couple that with traveling to Mexico, back to LA, then Chicago and finally New York...that hardly leaves any room for the rest I'm sure he needs.

It's not like this was dumped onto his lap though. He willingly agreed to all these gigs and traveling...

hi this is lee foss,

sorry if you felt let down by my part of the set on saturday afternoon. i don't think i played particularly well but if you are wondering why the music was skipping or several mixes were offbeat, the soundguys did not bring needles or slipmats.
we started a half an hour late while these sound guys went home to get there needles from home, and cut slipmats out of tablecloths. both of the needles jumped quite a bit, one jumped all the time and sometimes when you have songs beatmatched fine in a mix and a needle jumps while you are mixing it in, there isn't a whole lot you can do. additionally the tonearm weight was on backwards during the early part of my set, this is something i probably should have noticed, but i don't usually dj on turntables and assumed would not be the case when you are working with sound guys.

if you are wondering why i was djing on turntables if i usually play on cdjs, my laptop and serato were stolen a few weeks ago and i've had to play on an external hard drive with other peoples laptops till i can replace my laptop.

i apologize for the technical difficulties, and if you feel i played poorly. i'm sure i might well be blazed for this post but i felt i might as well at least give you an idea as to why the music was skipping, as i don't feel i had much control over that aspect of the night.

thanks to anyone that came out.
cheers
