Got in at 3:30 and couldn't find the TA meetup at the Hilltop tent :( I wanted to find Will (tubularbills) and Sam (kadomony), but I couldn't find them. It wasn't like last year where it was easy to run into people.

I spent most of my time at Sunday School and had a good time. But I never can get into CvS, no matter how many times I try. The dust was crazy and it reminded me of how it is in Las Vegas. The weather was fantastic and loved the music, especially Paco Osuna. That was a highlight for me.

I skipped out early because I wanted to avoid the crowds on the ferry. Overall, a nice day, but it wasn't worth the hassle and the $$$.

i was wondering where you were.

i apparently missed the meetup on sunday...which sucks cause i didn't get any pics w/ anyone on day one.....euphoria can you post 'em pleeeeeeeeeeeeease? :D

I been reading these forums for years especially during wmc for info :) but I don't post on forums much however I was at some of afrojacks set set and filmed the opening and it doesn't seem to me that he dissed trance. Sounds like he says - "whats up ny, hows everyone doing, its good to see? that you guys like trance so much but i need to know are you ready for some afrojack music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bux5CuMcHfs

And since Im posting :)

1st day I heard
Afrojack was good hes getting real popular but im getting kinda tired of the same sound hes pumpin
Reboot sounded good
Dirty south good as always
Paco Osuno only heard a bit of this that I didn't like but will try seeing him again
Axwell was great
Chemical bros sounded ok very cool videos

Really wish I had got to see Hawtin

At least double the people of last year and great vibe
Tents were all better but main stage seemed the same?

On the dirt it really sucked especially at Sunday grove. I think part of it is sat morn when I got there I remember looking around and seeing plenty of grass you can see this on early pics of that day then a herd of zoo animals trampled the out of the park and it disappeared and left us with dust clouds lol~

I got a pic Sunday night at the Grove during Digweed and it looks like we are covered in dirt and the air is full of it wonder what my lungs look like after that =/

Any work by Made on fixing the dirt situation, and we'll be paying double for our tickets next year haha... I think we can deal with it ;)

I know right? Because the dust storm approach is working so well for everyone.

It worked well for you, in your mom's basement.

It's an outside event. Do you know how much flooring would be needed to floor all of the tents? Do you know how big the tents are? (no because you were at home)

If the conditions are the same I think they'll opt to use a sprinklers to moisten the area the night before. But thanks for your input. Never run a promotion group.

The "you weren't there so don't talk" argument is so weak. It really is.

They could try some tarp alternative or something instead of solid flooring.

But as it stands the dust thing isn't going to work.

I would hate to have been your parents cause you seemd like the type kid who bitched and moaned over every little Christmas present you received in your childhood

Someone who was there in the morning told me that they actually were watering down the fields on Sunday to decrease the dust....too bad it didnt help much, eh?

:( :whip:

I'm sure they tried cause they fixed the other problems (entrance and bathrooms). But it was too dry of a summer and the week following up to it was so freggin hot and dry. You needed like a full night of watering to do anything. I don't think anybody could have predicted that. They'll keep it in mind for next year though and plan accordingly I'm sure.

I didn't meet anyone EITHER DAY who was bitching as much as half the people on the forums. You all need to grow some balls. There is the BAD as well as the ridiculous amount of GOOD that comes with big 2-day, 50,000 people festivals (pot smoke, bathroom lines, dirt). Welcome to a place that's OUTSIDE the club (thank god)...
