definitely interesting and technically well put together , i'm most certain that if you tried to milk more energy out of the main riff you'll have stormer , you're main riff is a killer

Nice tune!

Your break doesn't come to a full stop, it doesn't relax completely. Take out some of those bits of percussion so you get that sunken feeling, then when the song comes back it hits harder. You could even make it a bit longer.

Cut the main section at the end in half. There's nothing new in it, so there is no good reason to replay it for that long. You want people wanting more, not loathing more. Fill the cut out half with a build up to the outro.

Just my 2 cents.

Tell me about it. The arrange view reminds me of protools through a ty videocard.

btw, what was your project? 2-step jazz score?

It really, really is - I don't even want to use it because it's just so terrible to look at, like a plastic toy. And awkward to use.

the intro cue to an episode, it starts off kinda off inspector like then sort of breaks into a more comedy styled score with traditional orchestra and string plucks and the like. The actual intro you heard kinda builds until the person gets hit by a bike. Pretty sure you've seen it in tv. Its a pretty common thing they do now. Impose a certain feeling that isn't correct and then when you realize this isn't anything serious and the music goes back to normal, its sort of funny. I synced the horn hits to the times he looks at his watch, the camera changes and a few other things happening in the video.

it is neat tho as TV demands a more upfront lighter touch and the hollywood sound doesn't work. Unfortunately alot of people don't seem to realize that so you get half assed muddy orchestrations that just don't fit the relatively sparse canvas of the drama. Well compared to lets say inception. I've been really listening to alot of oldschool goldsmith as he tends to orchestrate very light. Also I suppose Prokofiev who also did alot with little.

What I am starting to do with Logic is make icons! I love making my logic look sexy.

Thanks alot man, very good feedback. I did already a new version without the percs in breakdown and cutting the end, and other polishing. I will upload it soon to soundcloud.
Thanks again mate! Very much appreciated!

Ableton is ugly

One of the reasons i bought it because i find it so damn sexy:crazy: I also have logic, but i find ableton so much creative to work with. Workflow is not so fast yet but maybe soon...

-FSP-
live is ugly, but fl studio is the ugliest imo

I feel like they didn't even try. Reaper looks better.
