I also have an impacted wisdom tooth, but its stuck under the jaw bone and won't come out, so it just pushes on my bottom teeth and hurts like a bitch. Sadly, without insurance, I just have to deal with the pain a few times a year for a couple of months until it goes away. Of course, none of my top wisdom teeth are coming in where there is plenty of space (and close this stupid, small gap). Oh no, of course not, according to the dentist those will never come in. :whip:

I credit my mom for being tough on us when we were young insisting against our wishes to get braces and extract any impacted wisdom teeth. i haven't had dental insurance for a long time have to pay for everything out of pocket but they do charge you at a lower rate for non insured. need to go in for my 6 month cleaning. i hate spending the money on frequent cleanings but it saves you from costly cavity fillings.

I know that I am a stranger, and not aware of your particular circumstances but why not make an appointment at a nearby dental school. It's better than nothing.

Those kids terrify me. They're not even dentists yet. :nervous:

thats actually a good idea. if you wait until a wisdom tooth is infected you'll be in big trouble
