| It was OK, IMO. I chuckled, but Jake you could have done better IMO if you stretched it out a little more and used the dialogue more sparingly. Maybe some more looping of the dialogue would have worked as well. A+ for effort though! |

I don't often feel compelled to make single-word posts about how unfunny or "dumb" I think a throwaway video is. And neither do you, given 99% of your posts are spent promoting your records or mixes in other sub-forums. |

And yes I've made more provocative music and those songs are also up on YouTube. But they get far less hits. I'm going for popular and provocative simultaneously. (Also, Barbra Streisand). But I LOVE making satires and comedy fusing music and video together. Either way I'm also glad that you're bold enough to say my mashup is dumb, because it kept the thread alive with two extra pages. =) |

Yeah I thought of that. My natural inclination is to loop it, filter it, throw more beats on top of Seth's beats, and make it funky. But for YouTube the average attention span isn't long. So I just crammed everything into 2 minutes. It's like something awful but catchy in between the essence of a commercial and a song. |
