Um...that's why people are being cantankerous...because someone from probably Music Discussion thread is coming in here taking the video seriously, like being fastidious about it as if I tried to make something pristine but in reality I just made something funny. It's like making fun of rape and then someone comes in and says "you guys it's not funny i know rape I experience rape" or something. Totally ruins the thread.

The video is great. It helps me learn how to utilize Final Cut with efficacy (practice for when I make my own videos). Also, Seth wasn't autotuned. His vocals were just rearranged to fit the beat a better. But yes yes Seth did ALL the creative work. This is his song, his remix, and his face. I mention that clearly on YouTube. I just chopped and spliced up all three and rearranged them to produce the quintessence and even something new. Gestalt psychology son - the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Also, Barbra Streisand. |

Sorry I had my thinking cap on. Whenever someone attacks something I produce I get into philosophy debate mode and end up sounding really dry.

He made a video because he's bored, not the first time he's done it, to post on this forum. It's a joke, and if a stranger tells a joke to a circle of friends, you don't walk in and say the joke sucked without looking like a douchebag.

Wasn't my argument but since you're raising some points, I'm imagining there are deeper reasons for your dislike of the video. Since you seem to be an expert at video editing, let's see one of yours. With your standards for YouTube posts, I might get really angry if something you made while you were trying beats something Jake did quite casually. |
