It's not that unusual for people under 20. Your hearing doesn't start degrading until then anyway.

I need to discover some of that old man wisdom.

Teach me, Eddie and cryo!

The trick is to never stop maturing. I think the mistake a lot of people make about maturity is that it's synonymous with ossification. What I've found is that people who are forty who still have the same very narrow taste in things, like music, that they did when they were twenty, can be quite immature. Stagnation is not maturity but it seems to come with age.

When you see an old guy latching onto every new fad he can see - that's not what I'm getting at. Chances are he was doing the same things when he was younger. Now that he's old, that "mid-life crisis" trait just stands out like a sore thumb. What maturity is signified by is the ability to integrate new information with the old information. Like a lot of things, such an ability occurs on a highly elastic time-line.

Boy I can't wait to get old

it just feels like everyone is younger. You never actually feel like you are getting older. I remember a specific year when porn stars started to look younger than me. I was 27. Of course I look rather young for my age as I moisturize, and use skin toner daily since I was 16 and exercise regularly. I pass for 24 if I don't open my mouth and wear casual clothing.

I heard all of them clearly on my laptop lol didn't expected this, the first 3 were specially annoying :S as for the data fact i'm 19 turning 20 soon. So i guess age is more important than genetics or habits...
Morvan
I hear it all well, I need to turn up the volume at 20kHz a bit, though.
nortek
i hear 4 sounds, the two first i can even hear pitch. 17kHz is barely there. then its all gonne. but i might wanna test with my other soundcard??
ReclusNdangrmnt
I drop at the fifth one, can't hear the last two...

However I only just became of clubbing age, so this won't last for long (Even though I use the earplugs).

Oh and this was through my laptop speakers.

After 17khz it seems like a hard cut for me (I know there isn't one but still :p). 17khz was still quite audible.

I remember the times when I was 20 or so and I could still hear 20Khz.

drops after number 5 for moi. Ears ring on 6, and natta on 7.

Been to a few clubs/workshops with power tools etc...

Just wore earplugs and all seems well. (23)
