| Did Dumonde also play Trauma at GKGG? If they did, did they play the dub? If they did, excuse me for I will go punch myself in the face now for missing it :D ---> :toothless |

CraveTheRave-
I saw u in VIP getting that flag signed- I thought that was such a cool idea, but by the time I saw it, it was too late for me to start accumulating my own collection.
For some reason, I mistook some other TA for you. Whoops!
Did u get to look at our group picture? I'm the one with the faux dreadlocks as ponytails in my hair. I was also on stage during Joy's set. Too bad we didn't meet- maybe in Toronto some day....? |

Whoa Tatgirl, you saw me?? Sweet!! Really a shame that I didn't get to meet you or any other TAs. I'm going to look at your group photo right now to see if I remember you from GKGG. And about that flag, did you see the DJs signing it on my back?? One of the funniest moments of my life hahaha... I only managed about 9 of them so whenever Edmonton gets a DJ that was at GKGG, I'm going to get them to sign it (ie. Sander Klienenberg this thursday). Hope we get to meet soon.

I don't know why this popped into my head (prolly because I'm listening to the song right now), but was anyone in the GK tent when Tall Paul dropped Fergie - Bass Generator (Robbie Rivera Remix)?? It's not even close to being a favorite of mine, but that was my first time at GKGG to see the crowd fly off the handle, me included, to a song. I like the song more and more... I guess it's catchy and has lots of energy to it and just suited that exact moment Tall Paul played it... alright, now I'm just talking bull as it is 2:20AM and I've slept roughly 10 hours in 3 days. Don't mind me, fellow TAs :D

| Also hearing Poeppelbaum & Hemldach - 25.17 a few times during the night, great stuff. That song is harder than a coffin nail. |

I made it onto a website! Pics from the GKGG. This is from Joy Kitikonti's management's site.
Click on the 'events' section at the bottom, & then the 'gallery'.

*realises he hasn't posted a review yet*
hmmm... here's my night in the form of my patented new 'cant be arsed' review style
it started wicked
it stayed wicked for a while
i started to feel a bit dodgy
it got
it continued to be
i threw up
it got wicked again for a while
i lost everyone
it rapidly got again
it stayed for a few hours
i found everyone
we left
we got stoned
.....very stoned
my comedown destroyed my head and body, thus triggering my lack of posting around here, and some weird up with my appetite which means im still not eating properly.. aren't drugs great? :whip:
i still had a wicked time overall though, so the good bits must've been really good! :stongue: |
