Well im spannered
15 hours dancing is a in lot! and a 6 odd mile walk afterwards was just fun fun fun :D
anyway, small review for now :
Was ing mint
Every1 was sounds as as usual
DJs that i saw :
Marco V - Amazing early set although was pretty hard to be playing at 4:30pm
John 00 Flemming - bit dreamy for me to start but went very nice towards the end.
Signum - Excellent tunes, but quite sound system at the time and lack of decent lights put a downer on it. Plus although the tunes played were very good, the set overall wasnt as danceable as a lot of the others
Dumonde - I know they will be abused for the Zombie Nation incedent but other than that i really enjoyed their set.
Ferry - A quality set of tunes, esp Ligaya into Pocket Damage :D although the set faded a little towards the end imo.
Armin - Only caught the end, where i heard Cafe Del Marco (Again! which got annoying), The Prophet (which had some added wierd sounds that made it ) and Oliver Lieb - Subsonik (Filterheadz Remix) to finish which is a tuuuuuunnnne :D
Oakie - only heard a bit but sounded pretty cool really.
Guy Ornadel - Some seriously banging tunes, a very nice set
JK - saw first 30 mins or so and was a sweet set, esp Ariel - A9 :D but the next guy was calling me
Mauro - OMG, this set was unbelievable for me. Seriously banging and he nearly blew the speakers again, before the promoter came out and turned it down in front of the crowd! but the last 25-30 mins of this set were prob the best bit of live set i've ever heard, Including a picotto style remix of Underworld - born slippy (/me creams his pants) into Megamind - Taub :D :D :D :crazy:
Jules - Erm, well started okay, Rank 1 - Awakening (Benicio Remix) but tbh, imo it all went to pot big style
Scotty Baby - Well despite me being almost dead by this time, i was still able to enjoy another good set from my hero. Although i would say that he really should look at some tunes other than his own at times! played a couple of new ones at the end which were veeeeery nice and i will be wanting. Then they did the usual, thats it..... oh whats that u want one more? so theres me expecting Overdrive as he had yet to play it, and what do we get? Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebirth (Airwave Remix)!?! and even then we only got half of it! :whip:

| now i can kinda sort my head a bit, just wanna say soz for not being around much near the end, and leaving early.totally over indulged on the drugs (a gram of base and 9 pills) i felt like from about 2am onwards and it just got worse, so soz i didnt get to talk to you (or tried and failed) all as much as i would of liked, also didnt get to dance much for the last half , but was at it like a madman for the first half :) anyway hope u all had a good time. i will review stuff when i am not ed. |

Ste, U was totally sound, don't think that I've ever shaken hands with anyone else quite as much as we shook hands, lol.
every time we saw each other in fact and at random times whilst chilling out under the laser.
I defo think that's the best way to spend a saturday night, in the open with loud trance and amazing lasers going off all around, with loads of ppl that are so friendly and just so cool.
Global Gathering would not been anywhere as near as good if it was not for the company of You, jefFf, Nita, spad, Jay, in fact every TA and non TA that was with us, even that random bird that spad picked up in Brum was cool, A wicked time Mate and i think we was all pretty much F U C K E R E D come the early morning as the sun was coming up.
Can't wait til the next one :)
