| I've had kidney infections (before they tore it out) and THAT hurt like a bitch. Worst pain I've felt. |

| I had them and had to go to ER about 4 times in past years. I was actually in ER for one kidney stone last sunday. It's so painful and getting rid of the stones without laser surgery can be a drag. |

eli is working back up north so he can't help for another 2 weeks..:p
the doctor said i can see the urologist in about 3 weeks to see if i can get them blasted out.. but 3 more weeks of this pain seems really ridiculous to me. i know for myself when it starts to hurt it comes on pretty fast and only takes a few minutes to get to the point where it takes my breath away and i'm on the ground. My concern is that it will happen while my kid is in preschool and i won't be there in time to pick her up or out buying groceries and it will happen while i'm out with my 2 kids.. |

Once I was waiting to get into a roundabout, and this moron in a z3 came a little too fast and couldnt stop on the icey roads, so he hit me. Didn't feel any pain then and there, but when i woke up the next morning I couldnt move my neck, so I went to the ER and and got some Voltaren, I have no idea why they didnt give me proper medication tho. Probably because I was in the military. Anyways, fast forward 15 hours, and I'm in the infirmary fast asleep, and I woken up by this intense pain in my kidneys, kinda like when you've held it in for far too long, only multiplied by a thousand.
Tried to get up to take a piss, but no luck getting to the toilet. So yeah.... the acute pain kinda faded over the next hour or so, and it felt a hell of alot better after i took a leak.
So yeah, Im never taking Voltaren again. Second time I've had a bad reaction to them. FIrst time I gained 15 pounds in one week :/ |

Sorry to hear that hun. :(
My mother had a kidney stone a few years ago. She used to cry all night from the pain, it was heartbreaking. She said the pain was much worse than being in labor when she had me (it took her 48 hours to push me out).
My mom is a very strong woman and always looked invincible to me, but she was just so weak and destroyed when she was suffering from that kidney stone. They say it's possibly the worst kind of pain one can experience.
I remember her drinking a lot of cranberry juice ever since she got her laser surgery.

| lol, actually, although i never had stones, i definitely had some horrible pain w/ the UTI i had. peeing problems really suck because you feel great otherwise. like, life is normal and all...you can go do stuff; but then you go to the bathroom and it's like, "OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD":whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: |

if people avoided eating fastfood and drinking pop/coffee all the time there would be less kidney stone problems.
eat healthy, drink water/real squized juices and you'll be good.
also never hold piss until you're dying to go, some chick few years ago told me she got a uti because she peed twice a day which could be one of the causes for stones to form in the future. |
