yeah i think you're supposed to avoid dairy if you form calcium oxalate or phosphate stones (which are most common) however if you form struvite or uric acid or cystine stones, you need to avoid red meat etc. If i can catch the stone i'll have it tested and see which ones i form. (i have to piss in a strainer, i don't pee on my hand.:gsmile: )
this isn't my scan but it is pretty much exactly where the two stones in my left kidney are. |

Maybe three years ago or so, this guy I was working with was struggling with kidney stones. He passed one at work. At the time, he was at the very front of the store and I was in the back warehouse, about as far away from him as I could be. I could hear his screams, vividly.

Actually, even if you avoid it, the little calcium that you get into your body will form these so doctors recommend to have a normal calcium-diet. |
