SUPERGROUP GABRIEL AND DRESDEN ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT THEY WILL RE-UNITE FOR A VERY SPECIAL ONE OFF GIG ON NYE.

Fans have been begging for a reunion and Dave Dresden and Josh Gabriel heard them loud and clear.

This NYE will be a very special ONE OFF event, when Dave’s new partnership of Dresden & Johnston open for Gabriel & Dresden alongside ATB at The Palladium in Los Angeles (brought to you by Giant).

This history making event will undoubtedly sell out. It will be a night of music and memories no one will ever forget.

Hmmm I love many of their remixes and productions but I don't know if people were begging for a reunion..
DaveT
whelp, that answers my thread earlier (which I deleted) about where they were playing.

you're kidding me right? this is the promoter in you correct?
Josh gabriel had ruby skye the least filled i've EVER seen and it was during their mardi gras theatrical weekend on a spundae night. regardless of what dj was also in town, the place was ghost town central.
and from my recollection josh is the one who actually did most of the positive contribution in the duo.

OMFG. I am so excited!!!

I just literally starting jumping up and down when I read they were playing NYE in LA.

Gabriel & Dresden were my favorite artists & DJs in high school and every time I saw them it was spectacular!

And ATB too? This is like a dream come true!

(The 16 yo fan girl in me is totally gonna come out for this one [I saw G&D for the first time at Coachella '06 when I was 16 and then I snuck into EDC 2006 just to see them and it was amazing!)

YAY!!!
Sadface
lol nice. One of my good friends loves G&D and i'm sure he'd be stoked on this. They put together some pretty sweet stuff back in the day but since they split up neither of them have done anything close to the same level of success.
DaveT
Not the same success (yet), but Dresden & Johnston hasn't been too bad actually and has received support from trance DJs and Josh Gabriel on his own has been awesome (as far as producing). Especially with his Winter Kills (Josh Gabriel pres. Winter Kills) group....it actually kinda sounds like old school G&D.

SillySilvia
this is the first year since Giant has done NYE gigs that we are passing on this one. house party it is unless T.A.O. has a bad ass line-up.

I'm usually out of town the following week in Vegas so going away isnt an option.
