^^^ Yours was one of the better ones for sure...
Can M4B or somebody announce which was which? I'm keen to know which posters I should pay attention to:p |

Thank you kit..
I did ask m4b in a pm who was behind the tracks but he replied saying he could not remember, he just threw them all in a folder when he got them.
So guys who are you?

mine was 1, and it was pretty basic
I used a hidden melody in midi C, and made some chords from there |

Really liked this aswell. Vocals were a nice touch, added something extra to the track. |

Mine was #5
I added about 4 more bars to change the chord progression from 12 to a standard 16. Essentially I wanted to use a motif and a melody and theme of a music box in the style of a ballet-classical like feel, interplayed with a sorta dark progressive beat.
I composed most of the instrumental sounds using Vienna Symphonic Library. Synths used include Synth 1, Sytrus, Microkorg, and Wasp. Everything was arranged in FLStudio with about 80 patterns used, 60 samples and about 20 instruments.
I guess I wasn't really finished with the mixing before having to submit it and it sorta sounded rough. I have since put about 10 more hours into tweaking the mix and arrangement to it so it sounds just right and it has been signed, so I'm glad with it. |

Well the guy I had in mind for mixing seems to have his hands full so I suppose I will judge that part as well unless someone wants to step in. I'm hoping to get the winners the prizes at the latest a few weeks before X mas so they can buy their moms something nice.
And , yes palm , I purposefully put the tracks in a folder batch renaming them so that I wouldn't know who did what just to be as unbiased as possible. I can always check the original files and of course I was messaged by 2 people concerning their tracks being signed and if I could take them down for the time being. Understand that the "best " track might not win as the grading scheme might not account for every aspect of the track but it was the only way to be fair letting people know before how it will be judged.
The first track for example voted extremely high but the use of the material was rather cryptic and the explanation I received was not that convincing or elaborate so of course points are lost and the person that wins could be the person that just does average in everything.
Also if the winners live in continental america, I have some items I don't really use they might prefer instead of the cash. I have a mint waldorf Blofeld collecting dust, an apogee duet that hasn't been opened and a copy of logic 9 still sealed. Items were given as a bonus for certain projects.I might just put them on Ebay but I honestly couldn't be bothered to stress out about ebay and all scams and stress. |

Is it the keyboard or just the synth? I'll buy it from you if you're willing to sell it |
|
|
| Mad for Brad |
| no keyboard. Really great synth but I honestly just have no use for it at the moment. I can sell it to you for 400 inculding shipping. Has the latest OS and been used for perhaps 20 hours and the serial has not yet been registered so you will be able to get the 1 year limited warranty. |

Damn I was really hoping it'd have the keyboard, though I suppose buying a MIDI keyboard for it would be cheaper than what the thing costs with one built in.
I'm still definitely interested, if you could wait a couple of weeks I'll PM you when I have the money saved up |
