Lack of Progg (pg. 2)

I'm surprised that Montreal is not a city of progg :O. Maybe I started liking Progg a bit too late, when the scene is already faded out.. But listening to Hernan set at black N blue was like a breath of fresh air. I'm not saying I don't like other house genras... I love them all! Is just I'm starting to miss these prog sets that I could qualify as a "Storie". When you hear some of the top progg djs play(aspecialy when they have a big time slot), their set becomes like an unfolding storie which gives out an amazing vibe!
It's just I would love to see more sets played like Hernan did.
Enjoy
why do you insist spelling it progg
Knox
Luke Fair and Add2Basket @ Stereo... Maybe throw in Brad Copeland for old times sake...

that would be sick.

Problem is Romchik that every time you get into a style you are about 5 years late, so that's why you feel there's a lack.

There's was plenty of, even too much prog house in montreal between 2000 and 2006

Progressive house as to be the cheesiest and worst section of Beatport right now.

You can find some decent tracks if you look in the 90th to the 100th section...before that it's deadmouse or sweedish house mafia.
I can't believe that Sweedish house mafia is progressive house... WHY can't we have a section on beatport called "Pop music" and put all of that stuff there?

ya, it really is truly terrible. i'll go into almost every house sub-genre in beatport except progressive. and this is coming from someone who used to mostly only listen to that kind of music a little over a year ago, lol.

browsing by chart is another problem. who gives a what is selling, search based on label.

Also, a lot of the stuff you're looking for is probably in the techno section.

That's the only way that I search. I check out the labels
