What ticks me off is the hypocrisy of the republicans to say crap when they crapped all over the past 8 years... what did they get done ?
THey also bash the Health Care when on of their own, Mitt Romney, did the exact same thing for the state of Massachusetts.
This is true. This is what will cost Mitt from winning the nomination in 2012... Romneycare in Massachusetts is his undoing. I wouldn't say they on us for 8 years... we still had millions of jobs created and an unemployment rate of 5% for that time. The ting began around 2006, and they got their asses rightly handed to them. They deserved to lose. The success of the GOP right now has nothing to do with the Establishment Republicans still hanging around... the likes of McCain and Lindsy Graham are being forced to stay honest now and show some goddamn fiscal responsibility because of the backlash from their party's previous mistakes.
Like I said earlier, they up this new opportunity and their party is truly done forever.

It appeared that way; what he said on the campaign trail and how he's acted with his oppostion is completely different; there is no compromise unless you go along with him. Watch man- when Clinton got taken to the woodshed in the 1994 midterms, he declared "the era of big government and welfare is over", and drifted to the center. Obama is already saying it's going to be non-stop hand to hand combat. Rather than showing humility and saying, "well the people have spoken clearly..." he is saying "The new Republicans will have to learn to compromise with ME". What!?
and yet the rest of the world still can't see which areas of obama reform are supposed to be extreme leftism.

Well I don't expect many of them to be the next Thomas Friedman, but the people know when their income and opportunity are being reduced by punitive taxation and regulation. As for the candidates themselves, yes some are clearly dips- but those won't get elected anyway. No way Christine O'Donnell wins.
but they damage real debate. they throw up red-herrings of nonsense when suddenly incumbents (of any party) have no chance of winning because people are understandably angry- but they don't understand what they're angry about and tea party BS clouds their judgement.

That's not their mindset though- they aren't trying to take care of the masses a la entitlements; they want to help the masses be able to take care of themselves. You know, the whole give a fish/teach a man to fish thing. Let them succeed or fail on their own accord... equal opportunity not equal outcomes.
tea party candidates do not understand enough about anything to achieve any of their stupid, stupid goals. that's my point. they don't even understand their cheap, lip-service ideology enough. its all noise and high school-level analysis. its embarrassing for your country. i know not all americans are stupid, but movements like the tea party show that a fairly large minority are absolutely retarded.
and this isn't even covering the sheer hypocrisy of most of their movement- their hatred of welfare while supporting medicare for the old and infirm; their cheeky receiving of government subsidies etc.
they're morons who had 8 years to protest government expansion and entitlement programs (like medicare prescription drug bill) and they did nothing. but oh noes, as soon as there's a black man in the white house who attempts to make healthcare affordable for all- well now that's just communism!
they do not understand enough about anything they're complaining about in order to fix what they're complaining about. absolute cretins.

I bet the citizens of Greece and France can see.

Now, you make a great point here- they did have 8 years to protest and I wish it would have come sooner- I think it has accelerated so quickly because of the exponential rate in which the borrowing and spending has happened in the last few years (don't play the race card man, that's weak). I didn't even vote in 2008 because the linguini spined GOP sucked the life out of me.
But I do believe they understand what they are complaining about- you probably see a ton of hilarious video clips showing otherwise but there are just as many well articulated ones. Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal, Chris Christie, Mike Pence- those are just a few of the real emerging leaders who CAN/WILL develop the fixes (Paul Ryan's roadmap to balancing the budget is solid). Now with a House majority, their suggestions will be forced to be considered, and they'll have the votes thanks to the tea party candidates.
p.s- term limits please!

I like how Kevin bitches about be taxed to , etc when we have actually a really ing low tax rate compared to a lot of countries that have a way higher standard of living than we do. :p
What a tardo head.

This should get a laugh. We hear a lot about today's horrible negative climate of attack ads between candidates. This video his hilarious... it re-creates 2 attack ads from the actual newspaper in 1800 between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson using their real words.
Now THAT is what I call vicious! :stongue:
