Arrived outside at 7AM and waited about 15 minutes in the line bypass line to get in (the regular line was almost an hour wait). It's quite possible that AM was the busiest I've seen zone since NYD 2008. It was almost unberable on the dancefloor. SOOOOO BUSY!! Ended up dancing on the 'runway' near the back. Caught the last 20 minutes of Fab Strong's set which was quite enjoyable. Carlo's first hour wasn't doing anything for me at all. 2nd hour was better but I was craving harder beats at this point in the moring. Left at 10AM to have a nap.
Slept in and made it back for 230 to catch the tail end of Santana who was absolutely brilliant. Ovi M was as usual, excellent.
NATHAN ING BARATO! WOW!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! I cannot wait for the day this guy returns back to CZ on a more regular basis!!
Darius... was this guy REALLY the special guest all along? Couldn't get into his set either so I decided to rest my legs. Why was the special guest only slotted for an hour?
Kojo upstairs was really impressive for someone I have never even heard of. Well done, dude! Ricky Syfer played really good for the most part and Jay Force was his usual self :)
The first hour of deko-ze was PURE DEKO-ZE TRIBAL BLISS! God bless this man and his INSANE energy behind the decks. WOWOWOWOW!!! He never ceases to amaze me as well as have me dancing like a crazy person. Left at midnight with a HUGE smile on my face. For the most part it was an outstanding zone outing! |

Richie Santana + Nathan Barato =
The vibe in there yesterday was unmatchable. What a perfect day! |

| Can't remember the last time it was crowded like that. Had fun although I didn't feel like I got to have a proper zone outing since I spent most of the time running around the entire vicinity; would of liked to spend more time on the main dance floor. Wearing my wig for over 12 hours was not an easy task! I was a bit disappointed with most of the costumes in comparison to last year. I remember having to leave the dancefloor a few times last year cause I was scared, lol. The decor in the deejay booth was freakishly awesome! The tunes were enjoyable all day but it was hard to hear properly at the back. I was impressed with Richie considering his Footwork set from this year was pretty forgetful. Had to leave midway through his set cause my exhaustion was starting to make me have an identity crisis, lol. |

It seemed like come Sunday everyone was sick of Halloween lol Also I think because it was so raging, people lost the patience to wear their costume... |

Not to sound like a nancy but that basically confirmed that I am done with zone.
Just too much sketch for me to deal with, but not only that, the music was nothing special. Same ol' monotonous beats. Carlo was great but other than that I was pretty disappointed. I was hoping for 8 hours that I would catch a groove, but I didn't. I was dancing, but I couldn't get lost in the music. And the vibe was not there, people dancing, but no one going off together.
After seeing Speedy J and Carl Cox tho, it's tough to make my night/day any better musically. |

And the vibe was not there |
one of the best vibes I've seen at Zone in the 5+ years I've been dj/partying there.... (and I'm there basically every weekend) |

Nothing compares to the vibe there in 2004/2005. And yes, it was way more sketchier back then, but I think I had more tolerance.
Maybe my encounters of the sketch were far greater then what you saw. I will tell you stories next time I see you. LE SKETCH! |

| but really Katy, to say "the vibe was not there" is total BS, the place was going off for like 12 hours straight... |
