It isn't.
Xanax doesn't completely erase all feelings of stress and anxiety. A large effect of it is that its just a placebo to get you in a mindset where you think you'll be ok.
Taking any amount of pills has the same effect...it's not going to make you more relaxed the more you take.
In your case you probably couldn't figure that out so you kept downing them. |

Actually, most benzos ARE quite addictive. It's very easy to build tolerance to them; therefore, one needs to keep increasing the dose to have the desired effect. Not only that, but the brain DOES become dependent on them once taken regularly, and you can't just stop taking them without experiencing negative withdrawal symptoms.

| In my county, up to 52% of the patients are addicts trying to score pills. I for one, will never hand out benzos in the future. Luckily we have a system that keeps track of each patients medical record. |

Actually people, can I get some advice on this.....
In was wondering about them or other suggestions for flying back to Europe?
Never done prescriptions for recreation (I find it sooo ing lame) but the GF gets seriously freaked out by turbulance on flights.
Friends have said Xanax will completely chill it out etc but it seems some people here say that's bull and you actually become more aware (wtf?) which I DON'T want her to be.
Will she also go bat-ing-ape if she drinks with it as well? |
