We might not have access to socialized medicine but we are rich in the healing spirit of Jesus.
They can lavage me in holy water when they're debriding my third-degree burns. |

I thought of that, but I read the most common symptom would be a problem when stretching the knee, and I have no trouble there at all, no limitations in flexibility. |

The fact that it only starts hurting after a while makes it a bit more sinister than just a strain or something. If it was a strain it would probably hurt doing normal stuff.
As already suggested, you should get new shoes if your others are old. Go to a physiotherapist if you can afford it, don't worry about a doctor. I reckon its a small tear, stress fracture or some kind of inflammation. |

A tear is a strain. |

Any swelling either now or when it first happened?
Which part of the knee hurts? The front, back, one side or the other, or in the middle?
Does it hurt when you touch it, put weight on it or move it?
Does your knee ever "lock up" or feel like it's going to give out?
Those are things that might help clear up what is going on and are things that would be good to know if you're going to see a doctor/therapist. |

Now: no. Before: don't think so.

Can't really tell, probably that means something in the middle. Not on one specific side.

| My knee used to hurt in the same place you described, but after exercise. My doctor suggested biking (I do a stationary bike) and quad extensions at the gym. Seemed to help. I also take glucosamine daily, which has definitely helped. |

I broke/fractured a rib, possibly 2... I know nothing can be done about it and it has to heal on its own, but is there anything I can do/take to make the pain more bearable?.. Even the simple act of breathing deeply, yawning, laughing or sneezing hurts.
Has this happened to any of you?.. I'm sure I can find some info on Google, but would like to hear from you nonetheless. |
