Went back and forth for a month or so and finally decided to go to Roseland. The problem is, i'm having a hard time figuring if i should take the main foor vip or mezzanine vip. I know it's going to be rammmmmed and thought with vip you could have at least some space of your own. Plus the open bar helps..
So what do you think? Mezz or Main? |

| so VIP tickets are $175 not including fees for 10pm -12am open bar now. Is it worth even worth it? If drinks are $15, I would have to have 10 drinks within 2 hours to even come close to $175. The only benefit would just to get away from the crowd. What is everyone else doing? |

| i am in the same boat as you. Am i really going to drink that much in 2 hours vs using the 175 bucks for the night of drinks. PVD and Tiesto on NYE at Roseland was nothing like ASOT 450... even Halloween with deadmau5 was more crowded then the last two new years at Roseland. So much other things going on the night that takes away from some people going. I wouldnt factor in the crowd that much for VIP and they always let people up to the Mezz throughout the night. So if you had to choos def do the Main Floor .. Great View and same vib as if you were down on the floor |

So open bar is only 10-12? That's quite a change from the ticket I bought.

i honestly wouldnt suggest it...think abut it they will probly only have one vip bar set up that everyone will be at tryin to get free drinks and it will be a hassle, and even if you do make it to the bar and do take advantage of it, drinking say 8-10 drinks in a matter of 2 hours is not that healthy you will be sick or totally ed up when angello comes on
best bet is to pre-game before hand and just do regular admission and get a few drinks threwout the nite it will prob be cheaper |

You also forgot about the afterhour party with Victor Calderone..Try to take it easy that night and party all day ;-)
I hope my open bar ticket doesn't end up being 2 hours. I noticed the info on NYE+NYD party ticket changed but NYD event has no times for the open bar... |

| Yep, I'm think I will just pregame before I get there and then pace myself for the rest of the night/day. I plan to end up crashing on my bed not the ER. |

wantickets has recently gotten really shady when it comes to things like this.
I had an incident lately and if I had not printed the original advertisement then i would have been screwed. Make no mistake, print out or take extra pictures of your tickets so if you dont get everything you can reverse the charge if wantickets says "I have no idea what you think was promised to you, you need to contact the venue to dispute this with them".
I have had 3 occurrences of this lately with with 3 different shows. Wantickets did not want to help or guarantee any of the extra's I paid for. Luckily once you threaten your financial institution against them and tell them of your proof they tend to back down from their BS and offer a resolution. |

ha ha word afterparty will be a monster i hope you can survive 12 hours ha ha
as for roseland and this open bar , it def looks good on paper but i dunno that price is too good to be true imo i mean if it works it works your in for a day full of drinking if it dont then def talk to a manager or promoter at the party to see about a refund or something
i just remembered 2 years ago when i went inside at like 8:30am i went to the bar and they werent serving booze till 12, the bartender told me the promoter didnt apply for the 24 hour liqour licence so they had to wait till 12 noon when its legal to sell booze again, i hope that dont happen again i plan on drinking my breakfast and lunch that day :toothless |

Yeah, I just hope they give you what they advertise. I emailed an AreaEvent promoter here on TA and he told me the license is 24 HOURS and open bar can get liquor anytime at the VIP STAGE Bar.
I just hope it doesn't end up being 2 hours like Angello but I am there regardless. We'll def have a good time though. |
