I'm in love with the speakers at Stereo.

Huge massive black stacked caverns of crisp clarity. They're as smooth as a freshly painted sports car.

One of the best parts of stereo for me, is being up on the upper level, looking down on the dancefloor as its going off during the peak hours.

....to me it feels like "underground classed up"

I thought he was awesome, exactly what i needed and loved every second of it, I love his style and how he brings tracks in late... people complain too much about these djs, just dance and have a good time
Forever Forward
This was my first time seeing Hawtin, and he was absolutely spectacular. My only wish would have been that he played a few more hours, but of course, I understand why that didn't happen. Incredible night.

yes to bringing tracks in late... and just his simple style of mad random sounds and bleeps just thrown in over a deep beat... really really looking forward to Stereo tonight....

I thought Jamie Kidd and Gaiser did a great job warming up. Gaiser dropped some proper tunes. Richie on the other hand.. was alright. I thought his set was a little weak this time around. His set at DEMF had me dancing the whole time.. this one had its moments here and there. He's probably saving his energy for Stereo. His mixing was solid for the most part, but his track selection was.. dry. It seemed to pick up around 3-3:30, but I ended up leaving around then.

I'm much more of a lurker than a poster these days, but I felt compelled to post my experience last night. First off, it was my first time at FW. Wow, what a great vibe there. Friendly staff, and so much less of what I despise about the guvernment. (the list is endless, so I won't ramble on)

The last time I saw Richie was at the guv. I thought his set was very good in comparison to the last time I saw him. It definitely was not one of the epic sets you see from somewhere like cocorico, but it kept me moving. I had to cut out around 3:15 (Damn thursday night events!!) but everything I heard up until then was great. I will absolutely be back to FW for future events, they seem to have the idea of what a night out should be.

To all of you who are doing the three night marathon (Windsor, Toronto, Montreal) my hats off to you. I can't keep that pace anymore!

Would have loved to see Richie @ stereo, but work tends to get in the way of these things

overall, a very fun night out...
